Pop music fans can party like it’s 1999 - or 1969 - when Aurora’s Paramount Theatre presents Purple Reign: The Prince Tribute Show, Friday, August 11, at 8 p.m., or the return of The Happy Together Tour.

World-renowned rock band Counting Crows  is bringing their Banshee Season Tour  to the SERVPRO Pavilion in The Meadow Event Park in Doswell, Virginia on Wednesday, July 26, 2023 with special guest Dashboard Confessional as part of Atlantic Union Bank After Hours.

Musical Theatre West (MTW), Long Beach’s premier theater company, will make musical magic with its spring show, An American in Paris. Known for its Broadway-caliber productions, MTW will debut the latest rendition of the 1951 movie musical for the first time on the West Coast.

The soon-to-open production of the Neil Simon musical Little Me at Manhattan Beach Community Church Theater (MBCC), the longest running theater in the South Bay since 1956, is directed by Paula Kelley with choreography by Angela Asch. Originally scheduled to open in the Spring of 2020, I decided to speak with the director about the production’s three-year delay and how she envisions presenting a musical full of comic vignettes featuring such a large cast, especially since it was written specifically for Sid Caesar to play multiple roles as all the heroine’s husbands and lovers.
