Tony Award winner Adrienne Warren is headed back to Broadway to lead the American premiere of ROOM, written and adapted for the stage by Emma Donoghue, based on her 2010 best-selling novel which she also adapted into the award-winning 2015 film.

Jez Butterworth's masterful international Tony Award winning Best Play (2019) “The Ferryman” will run January 27-March 5, 2023 (opening February 4) – in the first United States production after Broadway – and the first in the newly renovated and renamed Conrad Prebys Theatre at the Dea Hurston New Village Arts Center.

Oliver Heldens and Karen Harding’s new single is out now via RCA Records. The National Queer Theater (NQT) has announced that it is now accepting submissions for the 5th annual Criminal Queerness Festival, an annual international theater festival created in partnership with NYC Pride. The Criminal Queerness Festival seeks to uplift and amplify LGBTQ playwrights and artists from countries that censor or criminalize queer communities through the creation of exciting theatrical productions. This year's edition of the Criminal Queerness Festival will focus on LGBTQ artists from Ukraine and Eastern Europe.

Australian-born, Los Angeles-based Kito returns with “Sad Girl Music” feat. BANKS. The track follows Kito’s late 2021 EP Blossom and marks her first collaboration with BANKS since she co-produced “Gimme,” the lead single from the renowned singer-songwriter’s 2019 album, III. Kito and BANKS wrote “Sad Girl Music” with MNEK, M-Phazes, and Rory Noble.

People’s Light is presenting the world premiere of Mushroom, an original play from Pulitzer Prize finalist and Mare of Easttown cast member Eisa Davis. Mushroom runs September 14 through October 16 on the Steinbright Stage.

The Fulton Theatre will present the World/Regional Premiere of FOR COLORED BOYZ on the verge of a nervous breakdown/ when freedom ain’t enuff, a new choreopoem by author and playwright Bryan-Keyth Wilson.
