The Tron is delighted to welcome award-winning company Rough Magic to its Mayfesto season with a play that explores the history that led to, and springs from, the Easter Rising. Stewart Parker's Northern Star is based on the charismatic Belfast-born United Irishman Henry Joy McCracken as he dissects the reasons for the failure of the rebellion of 1798 and its attempt to forge a new nation. McCracken, a Belfast Presbyterian and a child of the Enlightenment, is the perfect hero to confound the stereotypes of Ulster's political history.

Abrons Arts Center is pleased to present the U.S. premiere of The Seagull and Other Birds by celebrated Irish theater company Pan Pan. The production, running March 23-April 2, is a roller coaster reimagining of Anton Chekhov's much-loved comic masterpiece. 

Yale Repertory Theatre presents the world premiere of THE MOORS by Jen Silverman, directed by Jackson Gay, beginning tonight, January 29, where it will run through February 20 at Yale Repertory Theatre (1120 Chapel Street). Opening Night is Thursday, February 4.

AMERICAN PSYCHO, the American premiere of a new musical based on the novel by Bret Easton Ellis -- which celebrates the 25th anniversary of its publication this March -- will begin performances on Broadway at the Gerald Schoenfeld Theatre.

AMERICAN PSYCHO just announced that Tony Award-winner Alice Ripley(Next to Normal), Tony Award nominee Jennifer Damiano (Next to Normal) and Helene Yorke (Bullets over Broadway, 'Masters of Sex') will join previously announced Benjamin Walker (Bloody Bloody Andrew Jackson) in the cast of the highly-anticipated musical. Directed by Rupert Goold (King Charles III), AMERICAN PSYCHO, based on the novel by Bret Easton Ellis, has music and lyrics by Tony and Grammy Award-winner Duncan Sheik, a book by Roberto Aguirre-Sacasa ('Glee') and choreography by Lynne Page (La Cage Aux Folles).

With a fearsomely coherent exhibition, the Neue Galerie transports its visitors to the streets, theaters, and artists' studios of 1918-1933 Berlin.

Rough Magic's new musical about the the 1971 Contraceptive Train places the event at the fore of the Irish feminist narrative.

The winner of the seventh Papatango New Writing Prize, Tomcat by James Rushbrooke will receive a four week run at Southwark Playhouse from Wednesday 28 October (press night: Friday 30 October 8pm) to Saturday 21 Nov 2015. The director is 2014 JMK Award winner Kate Hewitt, who is currently Associate Director on Sam Mendes' Charlie and the Chocolate Factory in the West End.

Millikin University's Department of Theatre and Dance will open its 2015-16 production season with Roberto Aguirre-Sacasa's 'Rough Magic' starting Wednesday, Sept. 30 through Saturday, Oct. 3 at 7:30 p.m., and Sunday, Oct. 4 at 2 p.m. The production will be directed by Dr. Thomas Robson, Millikin assistant professor of theatre and dance.

With the announcement of Belvoir's 2016 Season, Eamon Flack becomes the third Artistic Director in Belvoir's 30-year history.

59E59 Theaters will welcome the return of Fishamble: The New Play Company (Dublin, Ireland) with the US premiere of LITTLE THING, BIG THING written by Donal O'Kelly and directed by Jim Culleton. Pauline McLynn (Father Ted, Shameless, EastEnders) will play Ella Khan in Ayub Khan Din's critically-acclaimed play East is East, which was part of Jamie Lloyd's second Trafalgar Transformed season, directed by Sam Yates, on a 16 week National Tour from tonight 11 June 2015, commencing at Theatre Royal, Brighton. East is East is designed by Tom Scutt, with lighting by Richard Howell and sound and music by Alex Baranowski.

Adam Karim (Sajit Khan), Assad Zaman (Saleem Khan), Dharmesh Patel (Abdul Khan), Salma Hoque (Meenah Khan) and Simon Nagra (George Khan) join the previously announced comedy award-winning actress Pauline McLynn (Ella Khan) and original West End cast members, Ashley Kumar (Tariq Khan) and Darren Kuppan (Maneer Khan) to complete the casting of the Khan family in the national tour of Ayub Khan Din's critically-acclaimed play East is East. The Khans are joined by Kammy Darweish (Mr Shah), Sakuntala Ramanee (Mrs Shah) and Sally Bankes (Auntie Annie).
