Baryshnikov Arts Center has announced the Spring 2023 season of dance, music, and multimedia performances. The season will feature the New York Premiere of AMOC (American Modern Opera Company)’s How to Fall Apart composed by Carolyn Chen, the World Premiere of Eunbi Kim’s music and new media work it feels like a dream and more.

A play from the writer of The Odd Couple and Barefoot in the Park is coming to Stirling Theatre. Neil Simon’s Rose and Walsh, directed by Carryn McLean, is the story of two ageing lovers who were once literary giants. Paper Mill Playhouse has announced casting for The Sound of Music, directed by Mark S. Hoebee. The production will feature Ashley Blanchet (Paper Mill’s Rodgers + Hammerstein’s Cinderella, Broadway’s Waitress) as Maria Rainer, and Graham Rowat (Broadway’s Dear Evan Hansen, Sunset Boulevard) as Captain Georg von Trapp.

The complete cast for the Broadway premiere of Ohio State Murders by Adrienne Kennedy is now announced. Joining Emmy, Grammy, and Six-time Tony Award winner Audra McDonald, Tony Award nominee Bryce Pinkham, and Drama Desk nominee Lizan Mitchell.

The first run has been announced of the new musical Saving Grace which will have twelve performances only at the Riverside Studios from Tuesday 22 November – Sunday 4 December 2022.

Palm Beach Dramaworks will ring in 2023 with one of its most popular events, the New Year/New Plays Festival, which runs from January 6-8 and features readings of five fascinating plays that are still in development.
