The Bushwick Film Festival (BFF) has announced the full program for their 11th annual run. This year's Opening Night will be sponsored by Spectrum and kicks off on Wednesday,October 10th with a Red Carpet Reception and screening at House of Yes. The festivities will continue through Sunday,October 14th, with 40+ events ranging from feature and short film screenings to special events, parties and panels. The festival will also premiere 5 short documentaries created by 15 young storytellers from Bushwick who participated in Bushwick Stories; BFF's free summer filmmaking workshop sponsored by community partner B&H Photo and Canon. Known to generations of theatre aficionados, film enthusiasts and television devotees, Bruce Davison will be appearing at The Pasadena Playhouse beginning September 5, 2018 in playwright Karen Zacarias' NATIVE GARDENS. Directed by Seinfeld's Jason Alexander, this surprisingly topical tale of neighbors fighting over their shared fence features Frances Fisher as Virginia Butley (wife to Bruce's Frank Butley), with Christian Barillas and Jessica Meraz as Pablo and Tania Del Valle, the newbie couple on the block.

Driven by the success of Sunday's season premiere of 'Keeping Up with the Kardashians' and 'Very Cavallari,' E! ranked as the #1 ad-supported cable network in primetime among P18-34 and was the most social entertainment network of the night, according to Nielsen. The season premiere of 'Keeping Up with the Kardashians,' which saw Kim and her sister Kourtney disagree over scheduling their annual holiday card photo shoot, delivered 2.2 million total viewers, 1.4 million P18-49 and 785,000 P18-34, ranking as the #1 cable program of the night among all key demos. The series was also the #1 most social entertainment program of the night, on broadcast or cable, garnering 586,488 total interactions across Twitter, Facebook and Instagram. Additionally, the latest episode of 'Very Cavallari' earned a season to-date high among all key demos garnering 910,000 total viewers, 661,000 P18-49, and 372,000 P18-34, up 29 percent, 34 percent and 65 percent respectively, from the prior week (7/29/18), marking the fourth consecutive week of growth among P18-49 and total viewers. The series has also garnered nearly 500,000 total views per episode on video on demand platforms through the first four episodes.

On the heels of the most-watched season of “Total Bellas,” E! Entertainment has greenlit a fourth season of the hit series following the lives of WWE® Superstars Nikki Bella® and Brie Bella®. MTV today announced that 'The Challenge: Final Reckoning' will premiere today, July 10 at 9:00 P.M. ET/PT. 'Final Reckoning' marks the conclusion of the series trilogy, which kicked off with 'XXX: Dirty 30' followed by 'Vendettas.'

INTO THE WOODS is arguably a staple of American theatre. As one of the incomparable Stephen Sondheim's most recognizable shows, INTO THE WOODS is performed continuously by a multitude of theatres across America. From middle schools, to universities, to regional theatre and beyond, an active audience member can often find at least one theatre in their area presenting INTO THE WOODS in their current season. A show with this much popularity can begin to feel trite, and theatres may struggle to find originality in their own production of this often-told tale. However, this is not the case at Gettysburg Community Theatre. Their production of INTO THE WOODS trades elaborate sets and costumes for creativity and simplicity, allowing them to truly focus on the issues and moral questions the story presents. E!'s limited series “CITIZEN ROSE” returns for a three-part special beginning Today, May 17 at 10pm ET/PT and picks up where the two-hour documentary left off, with McGowan set to launch her now New York Times bestselling think piece BRAVE into a world in which she is at the center of a massive social and cultural change.

Rooftop Films launched with a single screening of short films in 1997. While we've since grown tremendously-hosting over 45 events across the city every summer, with live music and after-parties- we continue to showcase new short films and the innovative filmmakers who use the form to experiment, challenge and amaze audiences. This summer, Rooftop Films will present over 100 short films in 13 programs, with each program curated thematically.

The Wallis production of BLUES IN THE NIGHT, conceived and directed by Sheldon Epps, starts performances next week in the intimate Lovelace Theater! Manatee Performing Arts Center is pleased to announce Manatee Players' world premiere of The Long Reunion, which runs May 24-27 in the Bradenton Kiwanis Theater. The show was written by internationally produced, award-winning playwright, Jack Gilhooley, who resides in Manatee County. The Long Reunion humorously addresses the issue of rising tides as witnessed by three Manatee High School graduates over the course of four decades.
