The New York Philharmonic's 2017 holiday season presents classical and seasonal hallmarks, four Broadway stars singing Laureate Conductor Leonard Bernstein's musical theater highlights, and the beloved annual traditions of Holiday Brass and Handel's Messiah.

U2's acclaimed The Joshua Tree Tour 2017 came to a triumphant close in Brazil tonight. As the only band ever to have played four successive shows at S o Paulo's Morumbi Stadium, U2 have smashed their own record for ticket sales in the city with over 280,000 Brazilian fans turning out to see the Dublin band in less than a week.

Hit makers Level 42 will embark on a 19-date Eternity Tour of the UK in October 2018 following last year's sell-out shows in the UK and Europe. With special guests The Blow Monkeys, the show comes to Manchester Opera House on Wednesday 3 October and tickets go on general sale at 9am this Friday, 27 October.

Shared Experience today announced its first national tour since Polly Teale's final production of Mermaid in 2015. A major new production of As You Like It directed by Kate Saxon, which opens tonight (11 July) at Theatre by the Lake, Keswick, embarks on a five-date tour to Richmond, Oxford, Worthing, Portsmouth and Letchworth in November 2017.
