Drake has shared the LP’s title track. The Bossa Nova influenced “New Girl” depicts Jamie’s gypsy-like childhood with a twinkle in her eye. Drake has previously shared “Beginnings” and “Easy Target,” which Buzzbands LA called “a free-flowing, pop song in the vein of ’60s and ’70s AM radio hitmakers.” 48 Hills labeled it a “warm open hug of tune.”

The Novato Theater Company announces A Doll's House, Part 2 by Lucas Hnath as the last play of their 2021 - 22 season. It previews on Thursday, May 19 (7:30pm), and runs Fridays and Saturdays at 7:30pm and Sundays at 2pm until June 12, 2022. To serve their deaf patrons, Novato Theater Company is offering one performance with sign language interpreters on Sunday, June 5.

The track exemplifies her penchant for melding indie folk with pop stylings. It was written with Caroline Spence and marks their first collaboration. Musically inspired by Drake’s love of early 1970s Laurel Canyon.
