Variety has reported that the sequel to the 1988 Eddie Murphy-led comedy COMING TO AMERICA will get a sequel from Paramount Pictures.

Top hip hop, R&B, pop and soul artists of the '80s and '90s will bring their greatest hits to 105.7's Old School Party Jam at the Orleans Arena on Saturday, Oct. 21. Featured artists include Morris Day and The Time, Club Nouveau, Money B and Young Hump of Digital Underground, Midnight Star, Jalil & Exstasy of Whodini, Sugar Hill Gang, Dazz Band and JJ Fad.

Bob Bayne, Anna Lively and Lively Entertainment will present a concert version of the 1987 musical Romance/Romance.

The Joffrey Ballet launches its 2017-18 season with the Chicago Premiere of Lola de vila's visionary adaption of Giselle, one of the greatest and most beloved Romantic era ballets. De vila, former Associate Director of the San Francisco Ballet School, has elevated this classic tale of passion beyond the grave to new heights, set to prolific 19th century composer Adolphe Adam's original score created for the ballet's premiere in 1841. Giselle is presented in 10 performances only, October 18-29, 2017.

When David Moscow made his 'Big'-screen debut in 1988, it was huge. Penny Marshall had plucked this precocious, 11-year-old kid from the Bronx to play the younger version of Tom Hanks' character, Josh Baskin. This comic fantasy-fable about a boy who literally became 'Big' overnight, was a giant box-office hit. Moscow was nominated for a Young Artist Award for Best Young Actor in a Comedy.
