 Showstopper! The Improvised Musical will visit the Stephen Joseph Theatre next month. Spontaneous musical comedy at its finest, this is the first ever long-form improv show to have a full West End run and to win an Olivier Award.

Fresh from her win on ITV’s The Masked Singer, the West End’s brightest star Samantha Barks will perform for one-night-only at the London Palladium in a sensational solo concert on Saturday 5 April. Supported by a live band, Samantha will sing some of the best-known songs from her extraordinary stage and screen career, alongside some new favourites.

The Colburn School has launched a digital archive celebrating the legacies of music pioneer and Holocaust survivor Herbert Zipper and renowned dancer and teacher Trudl Dubsky Zipper, preserving their contributions to the arts.

Athens, GA indie rock band Futurebirds have released a new single, “Solitaires,” and accompanying video. The text, suggested by the memoirs of Gypsy Rose Lee and written by Authur Laurents, is economical and succinct. Jule Styne’s music varies from catchy tunes to lush, foreboding orchestral maneuvers, and Sondheim’s nascent lyrics are simple and accessible, yet cut to the core of each scene’s objective.

Final casting has been announced and additional tickets have been released for the 15th Anniversary reunion concert of the original West End production of Steven Sater and Duncan Sheik’s Tony, Olivier and Grammy award-winning musical SPRING AWAKENING, based on the play by Frank Wedekind.  

Initial casting has been announced for the Broadway production of the acclaimed musical TAMMY FAYE. Two-time Olivier Award winner Katie Brayben will recreate her Olivier Award-winning performance as Tammy Faye Bakker, and Tony Award nominee Andrew Rannells will reprise his Olivier-nominated performance as Jim Bakker. TAMMY FAYE will begin preview performances on October 19th and will officially open on November 14th, 2024 at Broadway's Palace Theater. 

The Young Vic Theatre has announced casting for the European premiere of the electrifying Tony, Drama Desk and Critics Circle Award-winning rock musical Passing Strange.

Direct from the West End, Cameron Mackintosh and Disney Theatrical Group have announced that MARY POPPINS will embark on a 2024/2025 UK and Ireland tour.
