Hua Mulan, a new musical by Jason Ma inspired by the legendary 5th century Chinese folk heroine, will have an industry presentation on November 7, in New York City.

In 1991, American Novelist Bret Easton Ellis published the highly controversial novel American Psycho. Through the story, we dive headfirst into a greed, lust, and ego-filled world told through the eyes of Patrick Bateman. A man so narcissistic, so label-driven, money hungry, and at the root of it all the depths of his humanity lie in a blood lust. Sure, he dates, he sleeps around, and is sometimes very graphic regarding his escapades, but at the root of his very being, he can’t feel. He shows no emotion, claims to never have fallen in love, and yet what is it that drives him?

TAFE introduces you to Narnia by walking you through the wardrobe. You meet young Lucy (Madalynn Richard), Edmund (Mason Damon), Peter (Kade Junk), and Susan (Faith Brown) as they discover the magical world of talking animals, witches, and winter that never ends. Karen Leclaire was excellent in her portrayal of the evil witch who has taken over Narnia. Her cold and callous character is quite the foil to the calm and paternal Aslan, played by Lucas Wise.

REVOLUTION(S) is truly unlike any other show I’ve seen at the Goodman. While I think the material still has some rough edges, that’s fitting of the subject matter. The themes introduced here aren’t neat and tidy, so the material shouldn’t be, either. This musical has a pulsing, urgent energy that is extremely well-matched by Tom Morello’s music and lyrics.

THE LAMB was ranked in the top ten of Rolling Stone magazine’s top 50 progressive rock albums of all time. The BBC called it a “conceptual masterpiece.” Hackett has another word for it: an anomaly.

Phish will return to New York City on Sunday, December 28, through Wednesday, December 31, for a four-night New Year’s run at Madison Square Garden. A much-loved New Year’s tradition, this year’s run will bring Phish's total number of shows at The Garden to 91. 

Multiple lost Broadway theaters intersect with the Hammerstein family. This follows since Oscar Hammerstein I was a theater owner and builder. In addition to Hammerstein’s which was named after him and is now the Ed Sullivan, and the New Victory which he originally built, there is also the Hammerstein Ballroom. Read more here!

Heathers is currently playing to sold out crowds at New World Stages, the off-Broadway complex on 50th Street between 8th and 9th Avenues. It’s a New York City return for the teen musical with a relatively short turn-around time since the original off-Broadway premiere of Heathers opened in 2014.

The Gilded Age recently wrapped up its third season on HBO, to record-setting viewership. Much to the delight of theatre fans, the cast of the show includes a wealth of actors who are beloved for their work in theatre. Cast by Adam Caldwell and Bernie Telsey, The Gilded Age shoots in the New York area, which gave the team the ability to cast many actors who regularly work in theatre.

 In celebration of 92 years of Theatre By The Sea, owner and producer Bill Hanney is proud to present Heartbreak Hotel, the stage musical which celebrates the life and music of Elvis Presley. Heartbreak Hotel will be presented from August 20 – September 14, 2025.

Looking ahead to another season of joy, Country's only all-vocal group Home Free will present their Christmas-themed Let Me Come Home Tour. The coast-to-coast run includes a stop in Columbus in the Davidson Theatre. Learn more!
