Today, the the full tracklisting for Cats: Highlights From The Motion Picture Soundtrack was announced! The highly-anticipated soundtrack will be released Friday, December 20, alongside the film, which is directed by Oscar®-winning filmmaker Tom Hooper (Les Misérables, The King's Speech), and stars James Corden, Judi Dench, Jason Derulo, Idris Elba, Jennifer Hudson, Ian McKellen, Taylor Swift, Rebel Wilson and introduces Royal Ballet principal dancer Francesca Hayward.

The Holiday Dance Concert raises funds for the Afro Latin Jazz Alliance's Music Education Programs. The evening will be a retrospective of Latin Jazz Big Band music with an emphasis on Mambo. Arturo O'Farrill and ALJO will perform with special guest vocalists Sammy Gonzalez Jr. and Ivan Llanes. The Fat Afro Latin Jazz Cats Youth Big Band will open the show.

Based on the 1983 American film classic of the same title, A CHRISTMAS STORY takes us back in time to a post-depression era town in Indiana as narrated by author Jean Shepherd (Art Rodriguez). Shepherd shares with us the story of Ralphie Parker's most memorable boyhood Christmas as told from his perspective and vivid imagination. You see, Ralphie desperately longs for a BB gun, but not just any old BB gun, it must be a 'Red Ryder Carbine action 200-shot Range Model air rifle'. Ralphie is convinced that this one present will not only make his life complete, but with this one present he can be the town hero, if the universe will only grant him this one small wish. In his desperation, Ralphie manages to rattle just about everyone around him, especially his mother, father, little brother, and schoolteacher.

Rochester's world-renowned Garth Fagan Dance presents its exciting 2019 Home Season just in time for the holidays: December 11 a?" 15 at Nazareth College Arts Center (4245 East Avenue, 14618)'s Callahan Theatre. As BroadwayWorld reported earlier this month, rumors have been circulating that  the upcoming Cats film will miss multiple awards deadlines for this upcoming award season. Members of the New York Film Critics were told that it wouldn't see the film before mid-December, meaning that it would miss the deadlines for the Golden Globes, which has its final screening on December 4, National Board of Review, which announces its winners December 3, the SAG Awards, which close nominations on December 8. Now according to Variety, the film will indeed meet the early deadlines. Members of the Hollywood Foreign Press will see the film in early December.
