Stars from Broadway and West End will pay tribute to 8-time Academy Award winner Alan Menken on September 23rd with a concert and on September 24th with a concert and award ceremony where the acclaimed composer and songwriter will be honored with the Max Steiner Film Music Achievement Award by the city of Vienna.

Jazz at Lincoln Center announced the organization’s 35th season of concerts featuring JALC’s customary mix of American-premiere commissions and exclusive collaborations by iconic guest artists from across the globe, as well as celebrations of milestones and major figures in jazz and its related genres.

​​​​​​Berkshire Theatre Group has announced casting for shows in BTG’s Late Summer 2022 Season. The full season will feature B.R.O.K.E.N code B.I.R.D switching, a world premiere play and an award recipient of the GRANTS FOR ARTS PROJECTS from the National Endowment for the Arts; Once, a Tony Award-winning musical; Songs For a New World, the first musical by a Tony Award winner; Dracula, a classic gothic tale of horrors; and Edward Albee's Seascape, a Pulitzer Prize-winning play. 

Next up - Rian Durham, Account Group Director and the strategic marketing lead for multiple Broadway shows that weathered the shutdown like WICKED, or launched shortly after re-opening like the highly anticipated revival of FUNNY GIRL. 

The University Musical Society has announced its 144th season, which runs from September 2022 through April 2023.

NYU Skirball will present new staged versions of the chamber operas A Cockroach’s Tarantella and Zolle and by Pulitzer Prize-winning composer Du Yun, in collaboration with the International Contemporary Ensemble and Satomi Matsuzaki, directed by Roscha A. Säidow, on Friday, April 29 and Saturday, April 30 at 7:30 pm.

The Met today announced a new season of live performances with in-person audiences beginning fall 2021 and a new Artist in Residence, the acclaimed dancer and choreographer Bijayini Satpathy. Beginning in October, performances will once again take place in galleries throughout the Museum, as well as in the Grace Rainey Rogers Auditorium, and will feature MetLiveArts commissions and leading international musicians and composers.  

TheatreWorks Silicon Valley will resume in-person performances when it launches its previously announced 51st season, featuring eight plays and musicals presented October 2021 through August 2022, kicking off with the new indie folk-rock musical Lizard Boy.
