Theatre for a New Audience will present Denis Johnson’s Des Moines, the final play from the late author, and the first play by Johnson TFANA has staged, November 29, 2022–January 1, 2023, at Polonsky Shakespeare Center.

Bob Taylor, Executive Director of Great Lakes Theater and Lake Tahoe Shakespeare Festival and Director of Finance for Idaho Shakespeare Festival, will retire next summer. His time with GLT and ISF will conclude in June of 2023, while he will continue through the end of the summer at LTSF to wrap up their 2023 season.

William Shakespeare's joyous and popular comedy Much Ado About Nothing will open at Pennsylvania Shakespeare Festival, the professional theatre on the campus of DeSales University. The show previews July 13 and 14, opens July 15, and runs through August 7 in the Schubert Theatre at the Labuda Center for the Performing Arts.

Stars from Broadway and West End will pay tribute to 8-time Academy Award winner Alan Menken on September 23rd with a concert and on September 24th with a concert and award ceremony where the acclaimed composer and songwriter will be honored with the Max Steiner Film Music Achievement Award by the city of Vienna.
