TheatreWorks Silicon Valley has commissioned two musicals and one play as part of the launch of its official Commissioning Program.

 Repertory Dance Theatre, the nation's premiere modern dance repertory company, is set to close its 57th season this April with FLIGHT. A choreographic response to Utah's landscape, FLIGHT features choreography by Zvi Gotheiner, José Limón, and Donald McKayle.

Blue Mountain Gallery presents Pamela Berkeley's newest solo show “From the Hollow,” November 29 – December 24. The twenty-five paintings and drawings include recent work as well as a selection of the artist's work spanning five decades. Berkeley's works are created in oil and pastel on canvas or linen, and range in size from eight by eight inches to six by eight feet.

The Halloween season is upon us and the folks at Kavinoky Theatre have capitalized on the eerie and sometimes gruesome story that is Stephen King's MISERY. Thanks to the blockbuster 1990 movie adaptation featuring the fascinatingly devious Kathy Bates, the story has some name recognition. Bates went on to win the Academy Award for Best Actress , allowing no one to ever be comfortable with the thought of a sledge hammer by a bedside. High marks across the board can be given to all involved in this creepy tale that opened on Friday night.

CHELSEA TABLE + STAGE will present a special evening with Shelley Regner and Elmo Zapp on Thursday, November 10 at 7:00 PM. Regner, best known for the Pitch Perfect franchise, and Zapp, lauded for his work on Cruel Intentions: The ‘90s Musical, are teaming up for their debut duet performance.

House of Oricci founding father and ballroom community legend Omari Wiles brings ballroom to the Guggenheim in the long-awaited premiere of New York Is Burning, commissioned by Works & Process, featuring Wiles's AfrikFusion, which combines traditional African dances and Afrobeat with house dance and vogue.

This November, Works & Process continues to amplify its support for performing artists and their creative process, producing residencies across New York State and presenting a robust series of programs at the Guggenheim Museum and expanding offerings to Gibney Center, Lincoln Center, and The New York Public Library for the Performing Arts, in partnership with the Jerome Robbins Dance Division.
