Last night, Roundabout Theatre Company welcomed back Emmy, Golden Globe & SAG Award winner and Oscar & Tony Award nominee Alec Baldwin, and Emmy Award winner and Tony Award nominee Anne Heche in a one-night-only reunion benefit reading of Ken Ludwig's adaptation of Ben Hecht and Charles MacArthur's comedy Twentieth Century, reuniting the original stars of Roundabout's 2004 revival with director Walter Bobbie.

Roundabout Theatre Company (Todd Haimes, Artistic Director/CEO) has just announced that Nick Choksi as 'Dr. Grover Lockwood,' Holley Fain as 'Anita Highland,' Richard Kind as 'Max Jacobs,' Michael Mulheren as 'Conductor,' and Raji Ahsan, Franklin Bongjio, Daniel Fredrick and Evan Powell as the 'Porters' have joined the one-night-only benefit reading of Ben Hecht and Charles MacArthur's comedy Twentieth Century, in a new adaptation by Ken Ludwig, directed by Walter Bobbie. They join the previously announced Alec Baldwin as 'Oscar Jaffe,' Anne Heche as 'Lily Garland,' Henry Winkler as 'Matthew Clark,' Dan Butler as 'Owen O'Malley,' Stephen DeRosa as 'First Beard,' Julie Halston as 'Ida Webb,' and Paul Alexander Nolan as 'George Smith.'

A whole lot happened in Oz before Dorothy dropped in, and Wicked has been telling that story to Broadway audiences for 15 years at the Gershwin Theatre. The milestone won't go by uncelebrated, as in just days, NBC will throw a joyous Halloween party for the ages, featuring songs from the blockbuster musical hit and a cavalcade of special guest stars, including Tony Award winners Idina Menzel and Kristin Chenoweth. Additional guest performers include Ariana Grande, Adam Lambert, Ledisi, Pentatonix and the current Broadway company of 'Wicked.'.

CBS today announced participants for the 2018-2019 Directors Initiative. An outstanding lineup of entertainers gathered in the Kennedy Center Concert Hall to salute Julia Louis-Dreyfus, recipient of the 21st annual Mark Twain Prize for American Humor on October 21, 2018. The New Group has just announced complete casting and the design team for Clueless, The Musical by Amy Heckerling.  This world premiere production, with choreography by Kelly Devine, directed by Kristin Hanggi, features Ephie Aardema, Lori Alan, Sara Andreas, Gilbert L. There's just something about Kristin Chenoweth. It's almost undefinable, perhaps even undescribable, yet as with any writer's efforts to put into words how remarkable the woman behind the image is, I'll give it my best shot, attempting to encapsulate the wonder that is Kristin Chenoweth in 2,000 words or less (but if I go over, don't judge too harshly - I'm simply stating the facts that prove the folly of my initial hypothesis).
