A special Christmas treat: Dame Judi Dench is back in the West End - on stage - in person for three shows only celebrating her incredible career - and Christmas!

SHOWTIME and The BBC announced the new six-episode gothic thriller THE WOMAN IN THE WALL, led by BAFTA® Award winner Ruth Wilson (THE AFFAIR, Luther) and co-starring Daryl McCormick (Good Luck to You, Leo Grande, Peaky Blinders). Produced by Motive Pictures (an Endeavor Content backed company), Wilson will also executive produce.

The cast of Edinburgh Fringe show Classic! enjoyed a visit to The National Library of Scotland this week. The show sees the cast perform 42 classic novels in 60 minutes. Theatre Royal Stratford East has announced full cast for Anthony Neilson's poignant and comical delve into the nature of mental illness, The Wonderful World of Dissocia, directed by Emma Baggott. Leah Harvey, BAFTA nominated star of the Apple TV+ series Foundation and last seen on stage in the National Theatre's Small Island, will play Lisa.

With Zodwa Nyoni's The Darkest Part of the Night currently running at Kiln Theatre, Artistic Director Indhu Rubasingham has announced the full company for her major revival of Moira Buffini's critically acclaimed Handbagged.

The cast includes Phoebe Campbell (Cecily), Valentine Hanson (Merriman/Lane), Joanne Henry (Miss Prism), Daniel Jacob (Lady Bracknell), Adele James (Gwendolen), Abiola Owokoniran (Algernon Moncrieff), Anita Reynolds (Dr. Chasuble) and Justice Ritchie (John Worthing).

Amas Musical Theatre, in association with Jim Kierstead and Broadway Factor, will present a two-week developmental lab of The Gospel According to Heather, a new musical with a book, music and lyrics by Paul Gordon at the Alice Griffin Jewel Box Theatre at The Pershing Square Signature Center.

All new photos have been released from the West End production of Mary Poppins, as Louis Gaunt takes over the role of Bert. Gaunt replaces Charlie Stemp whilst he performs as Bobby in the Chichester Festival Theatre production of Crazy for You this summer.

TheatreWorks Silicon Valley continues its 51st season with the hit musical Ragtime. This sweeping and stirring musical masterpiece paints a portrait of America at the dawn of the twentieth century, interweaving the lives of three families—an African American family, a Jewish Immigrant family, and a wealthy white family—finding their places and pursuing the American Dream in a rapidly changing world. Featuring a Tony Award-winning book by Pulitzer Prize finalist Terrence McNally (Master Class, Kiss of the Spider Woman, The Rink) and a Tony Award-winning score by Stephen Flaherty and Lynn Ahrens (Once on This Island, Anastasia, Seussical The Musical), this musical is based on E.
