After a stellar outing last year and a nomination for Best New Play at the Olivier Awards, Jack Holden’s buzzing tale of a long-lost but never forgotten gay London is back with a smirk and a tear for a limited engagement in the West End.

From September 9 to October 8, 2022, SpeakEasy Stage Company will present the Boston premiere of the provocative drama HEROES OF THE FOURTH TURNING by Will Arbery.

Cirque du Soleil has raised its Big Top at Sutter Health Park over the weekend in preparation for the July 28 opening of Alegría—its most iconic production. With the help of Martha Guerrero (Mayor, West Sacramento) and Denice Domke (President/CEO, West Sacramento Chamber of Commerce), 60 technicians pushed more than 100 supporting poles to raise the white-and-blue canvas to its final position.

The Provincetown Theater in Provincetown, Massachusetts has announced that New York actor Joe MacDougall and BBC Word on the Street TV star Stephen Walker will appear in the New England premiere of Robert Chesley’s daring gay classic Jerker.

There will be three different versions of the vinyl available: a black LP with a lyric insert / a limited-edition picture disc that features the band’s iconic flaming skull / and an exclusive limited-edition version that boasts a slipmat with the same logo. Acclaimed Welsh actor and producer Michael Sheen (The Twilight Saga, Frost/Nixon, The Queen, Tron: Legacy, Masters of Sex, Good Omens, Amadeus) will star as Salieri in a gripping new production of Peter Shaffer’s Tony and Academy Award®-winning masterpiece Amadeus at the Sydney Opera House from 27 December, 2022 – 21 January, 2023.

North Carolina Theatre will present On Your Feet! The Story of Emilio and Gloria Estefan, featuring music produced and recorded by Emilio & Gloria Estefan, directed by, and choreographed by Julio Agustin. Performances will run from August 9- August 14 at Raleigh Memorial Auditorium at Duke Energy Center for the Performing Arts.

Recently named Label of the Year at the 2022 A2IM Librea Awards, Oh Boy will release pressings of two of John Prine’s albums: Aimless Love (1984)—Prine’s first full-length album, which was completely fan-funded and launched the label—will be released August 26, while the GRAMMY-nominated, German Afternoons (1986), will be available September 16.

The show was also in celebration of FINALLY ENOUGH LOVE, Madonna’s 16-track career-spanning remix compilation album, released on streaming.
