Her Majesty's Theatre New Ian and Pamela Wall Gallery and Pickard Terrace Unveiled

The new Ian and Pamela Wall gallery will become the designated home to Adelaide Festival Centre's Performing Arts Collection, starting with the first exhibition featuring historic images, memorabilia, architecture plans, video and décor celebrating the recent $66 million redevelopment and 108 years of performing arts history of the transformed Her Majesty's Theatre.

Dialogues a?" Ilya Kabakov and Viktor Pivovarov: Stories About Ourselves, which delves into one of the hallmarks of unofficial Soviet art from the height of the Cold War, has been extended through May 17, 2020 at the Zimmerli Art Museum at Rutgers. In addition, the exhibition is spotlighted during Art After Hours: First Tuesdays on February 4, from 5 to 9 p.m. The evening includes a tour led by guest curator Ksenia Nouril, a screening of the film Ilya and Emilia Kabakov: Enter Here, and live music by Central New Jersey musician and producer Brandon Broderick. Art After Hours is free and open to the public.

What happens when 1880 Western bandits are brought back to life in Azusa, CA by a space alien? Sam Shepard's The Unseen Hand joins Odyssey Theatre Ensemble's 50th Anniversary “Circa '69” Season of significant and adventurous plays that premiered around the time of the company's inception, coupled with Shepard's gritty and audacious Killer's Head. Longtime Shepard collaborator Darrell Larson directs both plays for a Jan. 25 opening at the Odyssey Theatre in West L.A., where performances will continue through March 8.
