Ehrenkranz Artistic Director Jane Moss today announced the roster for Lincoln Center's fourth multidisciplinary White Light Festival, October 24 through November 23, 2013. The Festival's focus is music's capacity to illuminate the many dimensions of our interior lives, with a particular emphasis this year on the power of the voice. Spanning numerous musical traditions, genres, and disciplines, the Festival will offer 23 performances, films, and events featuring seven premieres and debuts by artists and companies from more than a dozen countries, including France, India, the Netherlands, Spain, Germany, the U.K., Mali, Estonia, Italy, Austria, Canada and the U.S. New to this edition of the Festival is White Light on Film, film screenings followed by discussions with their directors. Other Festival components include: a panel discussion focused on the subject of time, pre- and post-performance artist discussions, and the popular post-performance White Light Lounges.

The 40-date VANS WARPED TOUR--well established as America's premier music and lifestyle festival tour of the summer--is set to kick off today, June 15 in Auburn, WA at White River Amphitheater and wrap up August 4 in Houston, TX at Reliant Park. A music lover's playground, the VANS WARPED TOUR has been breaking up-and-coming indie talent as well as both creating and showcasing major established artists since 1995.The nationally-renowned touring festival will be bringing the 'Best Day Ever' to fans across the U.S. and Canada.

The Film Society of Lincoln Center announced today the lineup for this year's edition of Latinbeat, July 12-21. Opening Night launches with LA PAZ by prolific Argentinian filmmaker, Santiago Loza, who has showcased his work at the festival since 2000, and is also an influential playwright in the indie theater scene of Buenos Aires. This year's lineup also includes the previously announced retrospective of filmmaker, Matias Piñeiro, who will screen his films THE STOLEN MAN and THEY ALL LIE during the festival while simultaneously theatrically opening VIOLA and ROSALINDA at the Film Society of Lincoln Center on July 12th.

Organizers of Season of Cambodia announce the final week of events for its two-month long arts festival, which began in early April 2013, and now culminates with a visual arts 'Open Studio' exhibition of works by five artists-in-residence at Governors Island off the southern tip of Manhattan. This 'open studio' of work reflects two months of work by contemporary Cambodian and Cambodian-American artists in the disciplines of sculpture, photography, video, installation, and performance, curated by curator-in-residence Vuth Lyno and the final piece of the festival's visual arts program, IN RESIDENCE, co-curated by Leeza Ahmady of AhmadyArts and Asian Contemporary Art Week (New York City) and Erin Gleeson ofSA SA BASSAC (Phnom Penh). The three-day event, in conjunction with the annual opening of Governors Island on Memorial Day Weekend, takes place at the Lower Manhattan Cultural Council's Art Center (Building 110) on May 25th - 27th from 12pm - 5pm daily.

Michelle Stuart: Drawn from Nature, an exhibition by the internationally acclaimed artist known for a rich body of work inspired by her lifelong interest in the earth and the cosmos, will be on view at the Parrish Art Museum from July 21 through October 27, 2013. Since the 1960s, Stuart has produced and exhibited monumentally scaled works on paper, site-specific earth art, multimedia installations, paintings, sculpture, and photographic works, pursuing a subtle and responsive dialogue with the natural world.

The author, former TV reporter/talk show host W.G. Buzz Luttrell, says, "I hope to make readers (especially young students) want to learn much more about the subject. This little illustrated booklet, 'What the World Should Know About Black History in the USA,' links early, sometimes little-known, civil rights heroes and martyrs (Black and White) to modern-day Black success stories from Oprah Winfrey and Condoleezza Rice, to Colin Powell and Ice Tea."

Miller and an outstanding cast of teens and young adults handle the material responsibly and realistically.
