This month, BroadwayWorld will profile arts organizations selected for NEA funding to let them express, in their own words, what the award means to their organization and how the funding will not only enable them to plan and execute new productions and community programs, but help them recover from financial losses sustained in the Covid-19 pandemic.

Kumu Kahua Theatre has commissioned five new plays to present for its 50th season, each taking place in one decade of the existence of the theatre.  Because of precautions taken to reduce the possibility of spreading Covid-19, Kumu Kahua Theatre is exploring options of presenting these shows, including outdoor and online performances.

The Cleveland Orchestra announces its 2020 Blossom Music Festival season, presented by The J.M. Smucker Company. This year marks the 10th anniversary season of the Orchestra's innovative Under 18's Free ticket program for families and children which provides free tickets for young people to all Blossom Music Festival concerts.
