Grammy and Academy Award-winning rockstar Melissa Etheridge will debut her acclaimed theatrical event, Melissa Etheridge: My Window on Broadway in a limited nine-week residency at the Circle in the Square Theatre beginning Thursday, September 14, with an official opening night of Thursday, September 28, 2023.

While the large majority of those who have won Tony Awards for performances on Broadway have put in significant stage time in their roles, there are a few notable exceptions. Atlantic Theater Company has announced a final extension for the world premiere musical Days of Wine and Roses. Adapted from the 1962 film and original 1958 teleplay, the new musical features a book by Tony Award nominee Craig Lucas, music & lyrics by Tony Award winner Adam Guettel, and direction by Tony Award nominee Michael Greif.

Mount Wilson Observatory, the scientific marvel where humankind discovered its place in the universe, has announced the second date in its Sunday Afternoon Concerts in the Dome six-month series, to take place on Sunday, June 11, 2023. Students from more than 40 schools and performing arts studios nationwide will take center stage this weekend at the Hyatt Regency in Garden Grove, California, to celebrate the magic of live theatre in the 2023 Musical Theatre Competitions of America (MTCA). Sea Gypsies are a three-piece blues fusion band with a repertoire of around sixty numbers which they perform in their own arrangements. The band consists of: Tammy Joe Stewart (guitar, vocals) Jim Williams (bass, vocals) and Dave Samwell (drums, cajon). They don’t just do blues covers but rearrange numbers completely.
