SWANS have announced a United States tour for April and May 2024, following European dates. The band SOLD OUT all but two of their 2023 North American tour. The tour details, which are shared on the heels of a triumphant tour across Europe, N America, and the UK, will see the current incarnation of Swans perform.

​​​​​​​Celebrated violinist, recording artist, conductor, creator, and transcriber Dmitry Sitkovetsky has been named the newest Patron of The Purcell School.

Reprising their roles from the Goodman Theatre in Chicago are Alison Luff as Mrs. Walker, Adam Jacobs as Captain Walker, John Ambrosino as Uncle Ernie, Bobby Conte as Cousin Kevin, and Christina Sajous as The Acid Queen. They join previously announced Ali Louis Bourzgui as Tommy Walker, also reprising his Jeff Award-winning role from the Goodman. 

Across six psychedelic stages, including The Queen's Domain, Bassrush-hosted Mad Hatter's Castle, Lost In Dreams and Insomniac Records' Caterpillar's Garden, Basscon and Dreamstate's Cheshire Woods, Factory 93's The Looking Glass, and Night Trip and RNBW's Sea of Wonder.

Broadway legend Audra McDonald returns to LA Opera backed by the LA Opera Orchestra and her four-piece ensemble (led by musical director Andy Einhorn) December 2, 2023. Eddie Izzard will take the New York stage this winter for six weeks only, playing 23 characters in William Shakespeare's Hamlet, adapted by Mark Izzard and directed by Selena Cadell at off-Broadway's Greenwich House Theater (27 Barrow Street) from January 25-March 3; opening night is February 11.

The album also debuted at #2 on Billboard Vinyl Albums and #2 on Billboard Tastemaker Albums charts. Released on Parton’s own Butterfly Records with worldwide distribution via Big Machine Label Group, Rockstar joins Drake’s For All The Dogs – Scary Hours Edition and Taylor Swift’s 1989 (Taylor’s Version) in the overall top 3.

The show features a new actress, Erin Olson, in the role of “Sister.” She will be performing the comedy through the end of the year.

Boosey & Hawkes has announced the loss of American composer David Del Tredici, who passed away at age 86 on Saturday, November 18, 2023, at his Greenwich Village home in New York City, due to complications from Parkinson's disease.
