Theatre for a New Audience will present Remember This: The Lesson of Jan Karski, by Clark Young and Derek Goldman, directed by Goldman, and starring David Strathairn (Nightmare Alley; Nomadland; Good Night, and Good Luck), September 10 – October 9, 2022.

Six-time Grammy Award winner David Sanborn will headline the final night of Jazz Fest Pompano Beach 2023. The concert by the iconic saxophonist will take place Saturday, January 21, 2023 in Old Town Pompano Beach.

Queer|Art, New York City's home for the creative and professional development of LGBTQ+ artists, has announced the winner of the 2021 Barbara Hammer Lesbian Experimental Filmmaking Grant, collaborative duo, Desireena Almoradie and Barbara Malaran. The New York City-based duo will receive a $7,000 cash grant, as well as studio visits with members of the judges panel in support of their creative and professional development.

The Sol Project, the national theater initiative dedicated to amplifying Latiné voices and building a body of work for the new American theater, announced full details for the fifth annual SolFest: A Latiné Theatre Festival, produced in partnership with (Pregones/PRTT). The four-day program runs August 7-10 with both online and in-person events.

The four-member cast for “4000 Miles” features Mia Dillon as Vera Joseph with Clay Singer as Leo Joseph-Connell, Lea DiMarchi as Bec, and Phoebe Holden as Amanda.

This year the highly regarded pianist Ursula Oppens returns to multiple summer music festivals in Europe and the United States. She will be giving recitals, participating as juror, and leading masterclasses.

Theatre for a New Audience has announced its 2022-23 season, its 43rd, held at TFANA’s home, Polonsky Shakespeare Center in Brooklyn.

Two-piece Taipei Houston, comprised of Myles and Layne Ulrich, have shared their debut single, “As The Sun Sets” via C3 Records. Taipei Houston are a duo from the Bay Area in Northern California. Comprised of brothers Myles (drums, guitar) and Layne Ulrich (lead vocals, bass), who play drums and bass respectively. Plus, check out tour dates!

David Blaine will make his New York producing debut with Asi Wind’s Inner Circle this fall at The Gym at Judson beginning Thursday, September 15 with opening night on Sunday, September 18.
