Grace Bowers Unveils Lineup for 'An Evening Supporting Love, Life & Music' Benefit Concert at Nashville's Brooklyn Bowl

Breakthrough guitarist, songwriter and bandleader Grace Bowers will host her 2nd annual “An Evening Supporting Love, Life & Music” benefit concert June 10 at Nashville’s Brooklyn Bowl, which will feature performances from Bowers, The Cadillac Three, Devon Gilfillian, Caroline Jones, Meg McRee, Jared James Nichols, John Osborne, Lucie Silvas, Brittney Spencer and Butch Walker as well as additional special guests. 

Carter Faith Shares New Song 'Strong Stuff'

Breakout Nashville vocalist and songwriter Carter Faith has unveiled a new song, “Strong Stuff,” which she co-wrote with Tofer Brown (Elle King, Walker Hayes, Lady A), Lauren Hungate (Lily Rose, Cam, Lori McKenna) and Jessi Jo Dillon (Keith Urban, LeAnn Rimes, Dan + Shay). “Strong Stuff is basically my going out to the bar and looking to find someone to flirt with theme song.,” says Faith. “I’m someone who can be a lot to handle and I’m only into men who like it that way.” Listen to the song now!

The Hails have announced that they will be headlining Gainesville, Florida’s infamous High Dive’s last hurrah, All Hail High Dive, before closure. Taking place on May 19, with support still to be announced, the indie five-piece is the perfect example of the musical launch pad High Dive has been for the Florida music scene over the last decade plus. Last week, High Dive’s founder and owner Pat Lavery shared on social media that the venue is coming to a sudden end after their landlord informed them they had 30 days to vacate to make way for the new owner who will redevelop the property.

The producer Larry Klein honored the memory of Leonard Cohen with a 2022 tribute album that had a hushed sensibility and taste, as well as an impressive array of vocalists. Hoping to continue that feel, he began work on an equally fine performance version with the same title, “This is Now: A Tribute to Leonard Cohen,” which played two nights with the National Symphony Orchestra at the Kennedy Center over the weekend.
