A McCallum Theatre holiday tradition, Colors of Christmas, returns on Friday, December 13, at 8:00pm with a new lineup of stars presenting a fantastic evening of holiday music and classics, backed up by a 12-piece band. Composer Zosha Di Castri releases her debut portrait album, Tachitipo, on Friday, November 15, 2019 on New Focus Recordings. The album is a stellar collection of Di Castri's eclectic chamber and solo works, both acoustic and electro-acoustic, performed by the JACK Quartet, pianist Julia Den Boer, Yarn/Wire, the International Contemporary Ensemble, Talea Ensemble, and the vocal ensemble Ekmeles. A special bonus video track, how many bodies have we to pass through, performed by percussionist Diego Espinosa Cruz Gonzalez, is forthcoming.

Wheelhouse Theater Company today announced that it will present a staged reading of ORACLES: MURDER AT THE CROSSROADS AND OEDIPUSGATE a?" A DOUBLE BILL, written by Jonathan Lynn and directed by Wheelhouse's Artistic Director, Jeff Wise. The reading will be held at Manhattan Theatre Club Studios, 311 West 43rd St., on Thursday, 10/31 at 1:30 pm and Friday 11/01 at 11am. Keen Company Artistic Director Jonathan Silverstein today announced the cast for the first play of the new season, Keen's 20th: Paul O'Brien, Pamela Sabaugh and Tommy Schrider will star in Brian Friel's Molly Sweeney directed by Mr. Silverstein.

Pass Over). In Heroes of the Fourth Turning, four young conservatives have gathered at a backyard after-party in rural Wyoming.

 In 2017, when BEN-HUR was first introduced to the Korean audience, the response to the a?oenew, innovative, eye-openinga?? show was sensational. Not only did this Korean original musical production have continuous sold-out shows, but it also maintained an average of 98% of audience attendance rate throughout the entire run. The grand ending of their success resulted in receiving three awards, including Best Musical in the 2nd Annual Korea Musical Awards. So, it was no surprise that the show has come back for a second run this year.

Detroit Rock veterans Kaleido have released a new EP 'NO RLY...IM FINE' - a deeply personal and emotional collection about mental health issues.  The song was co-produced with Michael Martenson & Jake Cemer (Boys of Fall).  The band played to more than 20,000 people at the Van's Warped Tour 25th anniversary show in Atlantic City, New Jersey on June 29th, with more dates coming soon.

Avalanche: A Love Story will open at the Roslyn Packer Theatre this month, following rave reviews in London. Maxine Peake plays the lead role in Julia Leigh's adaptation of her powerful memoir.

Pear Theatre's 2019-20 season opens in August with 'An Ideal Husband,' a searing comedy of virtue and moral inflexibility. Directed by Jenny Hollingworth, 'An Ideal Husband' previews on August 22, with press and Opening Night on Friday, August 23, followed by a champagne gala. Presented by Asian CineVision, the 42nd Asian American International Film Festival (AAIFF42), and taking place July 25 – August 3 in New York City, has announced its full film lineup. The first and longest running Asian interest film festival in the country, AAIFF42 will be presenting 12 narrative features, 9 documentary features, and 67 short films, from 19 countries.

Two-time Emmy Award-winner Dorothy Lyman, renowned for her acting and directing on All My Children, Mama's Family, and The Nanny, and in films like Blow and The Departed, will bring her powerful play, Gladstone Hollow, to Westchester County's Schoolhouse Theater from June 13-30.

Acclaimed writer and actor Alex Gwyther (Our Friends, The Enemy; Eyes Closed, Ears Covered) will perform in the world premiere of his gripping and tender new play Ripped at this year's Edinburgh Festival Fringe, playing Underbelly, Cowgate, (venue 61) from 1-25 August (excl. 12) at 13:00. The one-man play will preview at The Actors Centre, London, on 22 and 23 July.
