Merrigong Theatre Company has revealed its thrilling 2019 Season at a special launch event held at the Illawarra Performing Arts Centre (IPAC). The 2019 season will spoil audiences with an array of productions ranging from exhilarating mainstage plays, to delightful children's shows, acclaimed music theatre, world-class comedy and ground-breaking dance.

Liverpool-based The Room in the Wood will be releasing their 'The Mars EP' on November 23 digitally and on limited-edition CD.

Anna Shoemaker is excited to share the video for her single 'Too High.' The track is off her newly released debut EP East Side (5town Records). The video premiered via Blackbook Magazine who note the single 'is all jittery beats, sultry atmospherics and Anna's soulful vocals, lyrically telling a story of giving oneself over to a burgeoning romance.' Sing Away the Stigma is a heartfelt, honest, life-affirming evening of brand-new songs by emerging musical theater composers and lyricists, inspired by true-life stories of those with mental health challenges. A dozen people from different backgrounds and walks of life, all living with a mental health condition, were interviewed and had their stories of struggle, strength, and hope turned into songs, which will be performed for the first time in this concert. Sing Away the Stigma is a testament to the power of musical theater, the strength of those living with mental illness, and the unique bond formed when the two meet.

FEINSTEIN'S/54 BELOW, Broadway's Supper Club, presents Wildwood, a new musical created and written by Michael Kimmel (Songbird, The Last Goodbye) with music and lyrics by Elliah Heifetz (Dust Can't Kill Me) on November 7, 2018, 9:30pm. In the 1950's, Wildwood NJ was known as "The Las Vegas of the East." For three months a year, this small south Jersey town turned into the biggest party of the summer. Everything converged in Wildwood- The Rat Pack, doo wop, soul, and the beginnings of rock and roll.

Stephen Steinbrink, the prolific Oakland-based singer-songwriter, has shared the album stream for his anticipated new album, Utopia Teased. Paste Magazine, who premiered the stream today is calling it a 'a faithful reflection of his head space in all its disarray, awash in agonized humanity...  a 37-minute dream that teeters on the knife edge of a nightmare. Jim Messina's legacy spans five decades and three acclaimed rock super groups: Loggins & Messina, Buffalo Springfield, and Poco. And he's had a vibrant solo career, plus a dizzying array of producing and engineering credits for such luminaries as The Doors, Joni Mitchell, and Herb Alpert. Performing with his band in Folsom, the concert will include songs we all know and love, from across his storied career.
