The Old Globe will expand San Diego's celebration of the holidays with a world premiere American musical about family, faith, and the magic of Christmas. The Globe is delighted to announce the complete cast and creative team for Looking for Christmas, the new Clint Black Christmas musical, inspired by the country music legend's 1995 chart-topping holiday album. With music and lyrics by Clint Black, book by James D. Sasser with Black, based on an idea by Sasser and Black, music supervision and music direction by Matt Hinkley, and directed by Kent Nicholson, Looking for Christmas will run November 11 - December 16, 2018 in the Sheryl and Harvey White Theatre, part of the Conrad Prebys Theatre Center. Tickets start at $39.00 and are on sale to the general public now. Previews run November 11-19. Opening night is Tuesday, November 20 at 8:00 p.m.

Alberta Bair Theater's First Interstate Bank Fox Series continues with Complexions Contemporary Ballet's "Bach to Bowie" on Tuesday, October 30 at 7:30 p.m.  A truncated performance, part of ABT's Valley Federal Credit Union Student Matinee Series, begins at 12:30.

America's preeminent progressive rock band, KANSAS, will be touring select cities in the United States and Canada next spring, expanding the celebration of the 40th Anniversary of their massive hit album Point of Know Return. For the first time in history, the band is performing the album Point of Know Return in its entirety. The tour showcases more than two hours of classic KANSAS music including hit songs, deep cuts, and fan favorites. Peter and his mischievous fairy sidekick, Tinkerbell, visit the nursery of the Darling children late one night and, with a sprinkle of pixie dust, begin a magical adventure of a lifetime. The travelers come face to face with a ticking crocodile, a fierce Neverland tribe, and a band of bungling pirates led by the villainous Captain Hook.

The Psychedelic Film and Music Festival has announced the award winners for its inaugural event which featured a lineup of science fiction, horror, fantasy and virtual reality films, music and stage performances and panel discussions that explored the altered states of consciousness and truth behind the vibrant and enduring psychedelic culture. The festival included performances by Simon Boswell with The AND, Psychic Ills, Heaven, Michael Tapper, Roosevelt Island and Nosh and special appearances by Robert Barnhart, Mark Becker, Dr. Dennis McKenna, Shane Mauss and other special guests notable for breakthroughs in the psychedelic community.
