Reyes Projects is pleased to announce KUDDELMUDDEL, a two-person exhibition by Michelle Segre and Scott Reeder, opening on Friday, September 28 from 6-8 PM. Both artists employ a style of art making that seams together the audacious, and unnatural while examining today's unavoidable material culture.

The Handel and Haydn Society continues its 2018-19 Season with a concert featuring Ludwig van Beethoven's celebrated masterpiece, Piano Concerto No. 5, popularly known as the Emperor Concerto, as well as Franz Schubert's Symphony No. 9 in C Major, known as the Great Symphony. Performances will take place on Friday, November 9, 2018 at 7:30 p.m. and Sunday, November 11, 2018 at 3:00 p.m. at Symphony Hall in Boston.

Little Triangle continues it's trend to present wonderful interpretations of less frequently performed pieces with it's latest melange of musical theatre characters coming together for A LITTLE CABARET.

It can be a rarity, but every so often, perhaps once a year if you're lucky, you stumble across a work so sublime it leaves you a little stumped as to how to describe it. Unfortunate when you need to review it, however. English National Ballet's Lest We Forget first opened in 2014, marking the 100th anniversary of the beginning of the first World War. Just two years into Tamara Rojo's tenure as Artistic Director, it was a bold statement about where the company was heading. Four years later it sits proudly in their repertoire, a modern masterpiece to absorb, devour and shed a tear.

TenthPlanet: Planet Connections 10th Annual Theatre Festivity played to packed houses and great acclaim for each production. Goodman Theatre's commitment to new works and emerging artists continues in its 2018/2019 Season. Today, the Goodman named four Chicago-based writers to its Playwrights Unit-Georgette Kelly, whose play Ballast was featured on The Kilroys List and received the Craig Noel Award for Outstanding New Play; Dianne Nora, a playwright, dramaturg, theater scholar and comedy writer who works in Chicago, Brooklyn and Dublin; Marisela Treviño Orta, semifinalist for the 2018 O'Neill Theater Center National Playwrights Conference and 2019 Kendeda Finalist (Alliance Theatre); and Stacey Rose, whose work has been presented at New York University Tisch School of the Arts, Rattlestick Playwrights Theater, National Black Theatre and more. The Playwrights Unit, in partnership with Chicago Dramatists, meets bi-monthly to discuss their commissioned plays-in-progress with the Goodman's artistic team. The residency culminates in a public staged reading of each new play in Summer 2019. 

Promising classic country emerging duo, Crawford & Power, have signed exclusive booking representation with APA. The debut EP and single of the same name “Play A Hank Jr. Song” was released to all digital platforms in June 2018 and has been added to Spotify's 90's Country (and some 80's) playlist. Their unique approach to a fading genre has been lauded as a breath of fresh air amidst the  commercialization of sacred American music genres. The two Virginia natives have been on the road opening for Charlie Daniels Band, The Marshall Tucker Band, Drake White, Joe Diffie, Luke Combs, Jerry Douglas, Cody Johnson and Chris Knight..

Macha Theatre Works is excited to announce two production for their 18th season for 2018-2019, including a Northwest Premiere and a World Premiere.

The last two weekends in September mark the first Masterworks concerts of the 2018-19 season, both conducted by Thierry Fischer. The Grand Theatre High School Project will celebrate a first for the renowned mentorship program when it brings a new Canadian musical to stage with PROM QUEEN: The Musical. Directed by Dennis Garnhum, this award-winning production tells the true story of Marc Hall, the Ontario teenager who took his school board to court when it refused to let him attend prom with his boyfriend. PROM QUEEN: The Musical runs for 12 performances only on the Spriet Stage from September 18 to 29, 2018.

Idina Menzel has signed on for the Safdie Brothers' A24 movie Uncut Gems, according to Deadline. Menzel will be joining Adam Sandler, Eric Bogosian, Lakeith Stanfield and Judd Hirsch in the crime film.

A Noise Within (ANW), the acclaimed classical repertory theatre, presents Tom Stoppard's Rosencrantz and Guildenstern Are Dead, the Tony Award-winning play that first brought Stoppard to the attention of an international audience - a position he has held in the half century since its premiere in 1967. ANW Producing Artistic Director Geoff Elliott directs. Rosencrantz and Guildenstern Are Dead performs from October 7 to November 18 (Press Opening October 13).

To celebrate the October 26th, 2018, release of their brand-new Di-Tone Records project Phenomenal Woman: The Maya Angelou Songs, the critically acclaimed duo of vocalist Capathia Jenkins and award-winning composer, arranger and musician Louis Rosen will perform for three nights, Thursday through Saturday, October 25, 26, and 27, 2018, at the iconic jazz venue Birdland's new Birdland Theatre in New York City. The 2nd edition of Singapore South Asian International Film Festival 2018 (SGSAIFF) today announced its lineup which includes an interesting mix of feature films, short films and documentaries curated from across the world.
