Schimmel Center at Pace University continues its 2018-19 Dance Series with the return of Battery Dance on Thursday, February 28, 2019 at 7:30pm. The evening's repertoire is characterized by choreography and music inspired by worldwide sources, reflecting American society and its multiplicity of cultures, with contributing artists including Silk Road Ensemble member Kevork Mourad, Grammy Award winner Kinan Azmeh, and Battery Dance Founder and Artistic Director Jonathan Hollander. In addition, choreographer Tadej Brdnik will present the world premiere of his new work, The Red Line.

Waiting for the Punchline follows the rise of Nick Scarpino, accomplished podcaster and fledgling stand up comedian, as he strives to make his mark on the San Francisco comedy scene. Scarpino navigates open mics across the dive bars, laundromats, clubs and restaurants of San Francisco, often performing to small crowds of hardcore alcoholics and other amateur comedians awaiting their time in the spotlight. His goal is to gain a spot at The Punchline, San Francisco's oldest and most prestigious comedy club. He is joined by his friends Geoff Ramsey, James Willems and Elyse Willems, and receives guidance from an accomplished stand up comedian who runs open mic comedy nights, Tony Sparks.

Multi-platinum R&B group B2K (Omarion, Boog, Fizz and Raz-B), has announced today that it will kick off a limited engagement tour in March 2019, entitled “The Millennium Tour,” featuring a performance at Prudential Center on Sunday, March 31 at 7:30 p.m. EST.   The Iconic group along with special guests; Mario, Pretty Ricky, Lloyd, Ying Yang Twins, Chingy, and Bobby V - will visit over 25 cities across the U.S.  The tour is produced by G-Squared Events in association with Omarionu Worldwide, Hall of Fame Entertainment, and Blvd. Music.

An outstanding lineup of entertainers gathered in the Kennedy Center Concert Hall to salute Julia Louis-Dreyfus, recipient of the 21st annual Mark Twain Prize for American Humor on October 21, 2018. The Prize, which is named to honor one of the world's greatest humorists, was presented at a gala performance featuring some of the biggest names in comedy. The event was taped by WETA Washington, D.C. and will air nationally on PBS on November 19, 2018 at 9:00 p.m. ET.

Under this partnership, Hello Sunshine plans to expand its slate of podcast programming, with additional original podcasts and a tightly curated set of existing female-centric podcasts. Bluegrass-country singer Alison Krauss, winner of 27 Grammy Awards, will perform Saturday, October 6, 2018; comedian Ron White will return to LBC on Friday, October 26, 2018; after their first successful year of touring, comedy duo #IMOMSOHARD will return to LBC on Wednesday, November 14; Bill Medley of the Righteous Brothers is joined by Bucky Heard to perform the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame duo's most famous songs on Sunday, November 18, 2018; Big Bad Voodoo Daddy bring their holiday show to LBC on Monday, December 3, 2018; Dustbowl Revival and Hot Club of Cowtown will make their way to Santa Rosa as part of Across the Great Divide: A Celebration of the 50th Anniversary of The Band on Wednesday, March 27, 2019; and international best-selling author Neil Gaiman will come to LBC with his show An Evening with Neil Gaiman on Sunday, May 12, 2019.

The American Dance Festival (ADF) kicks off its 85th anniversary season on Thursday, June 14 at 7:00pm at Reynolds Industries Theater with the return of Dayton Contemporary Dance Company (DCDC) performing classic repertoire and a new ADF-commissioned piece by Abby Zbikowski.

Comedy Central builds on its success of last year's Up Nextshowcase at Clusterfest, featuring the network's rising stars, by including another stand-up showcase and adding a variety showcase. The weekend will highlight over 20 comedians with two separate and distinct stand-up showcases taking place on Friday, June 1, hosted by Chris Redd with special guest Tim Dillon and Saturday, June 2, hosted by Jullian McCollough with special guest Mark Normand; and a brand new variety showcase taking place on Sunday, June 3, hosted by Matthew Broussard. Lantern Theater Company concludes its record-smashing 2017/18 season with the regional premiere of Don't Dress for Dinner by French playwright Marc Camoletti.
