The Gateway Announces 2018 Season

The Gateway is thrilled to announce its 2018 Season! The Gateway's new season features dazzling Broadway hits incluing: A Chorus Line, Nunsense, Memphis, Cabaret, Flashdance and Beauty & The Beast. When you think of a play that features rap, you may be expecting a clash of over the top personalities, some witty revisionist history, or at the very least some fireworks.  Well, THE WIND AND THE BREEZE now playing at The Cygnet Theatre does offer some fireworks, but it mostly eschews the rest of the obvious assumptions and instead settles on a quiet, funny, and contemplative play about the choices we make and the roads it leads us down. Utah Symphony Presents Summer Community Concert Series

The Utah Symphony today announced the lineup for the 2018 summer community concert series in Salt Lake City and surrounding areas, several of which feature outdoor venues. The schedule includes Gina Bachauer Piano Competition Finals on June 22 and 23 at 7 PM at Abravanel Hall, Gallivan Center on Monday June 25, Disney in Concert: "Pirates of the Caribbean: The Curse of the Black Pearl" on June 27 and 28 at Abravanel Hall, the Utah Symphony at Snowbasin Resort on June 29 and August 7, the Utah Symphony at Thanksgiving Point on July 2, the Utah Symphony at the Utah Cultural Celebration Center on July 3, and Jenny Oaks Baker with the Utah Symphony on August 1 at Red Butte Garden Amphitheatre. Ticketing information is posted with each concert. No tickets are required for the Gallivan Center and Utah Cultural Celebration Center performances, which are free to the public. Hale Centre Theatre (HCT) revealed that the new name of its one-of-a-kind, technologically advanced Centre Stage is the Young Living Essential Oils Centre Stage. The announcement took place in conjunction with opening night of HCT's latest production, Newsies, on Monday, June 25, in the Mountain America Performing Arts Centre in Sandy, Utah. As part of its commitment to giving back to humanity and the community, Young Living Essential Oils will donate funds and products over the next 10 years to the theater.
