Broadway veteran Betty Buckley has joined the cast of upcoming Blumhouse horror film, 'Imaginary.' Buckley and Tom Payne round out the cast, alongside Taegen Burns, Pyper Braun, Matthew Sato, and Veronica Falcón.

The Muny has announced its full cast, design and production teams for the Muny family favorite Disney's Beauty and the Beast, June 22 -30.

Produced by GRAMMY Award-winning producer Dave Cobb (Brandi Carlile, Jason Isbell) and recorded at Cobb’s studio in Savannah, GA, 1988 is named for the year McKenna married her husband, Gene, and serves as a love letter to her family and lifelong friendships. The album includes a songwriting collaboration with her son, Chris (“Happy Children”).

The music video for GRAMMY Award-winning singer, songwriter and musician Lori McKenna’s new song, “Killing Me” feat. Hillary Lindsey, is debuting now. Directed by Derrick Javon, the video finds McKenna in a tender moment, as she addresses her younger self (played by actress Lauren Starr), supporting her as she searches for inner peace.

Ahead of the album, new song, “Killing Me,” featuring McKenna’s longtime collaborator, Hillary Lindsey, and written by McKenna, Lindsey and Luke Laird, is out now. Andy Mientus (“Spring Awakening”), Krystina Alabado (“Mean Girls”) and Noah J. Ricketts (“Disney’s Frozen”) will star in a new production of Jonathan Larson’s “Tick, Tick … Boom!” as part of Bucks County Playhouse’s 2023 Season. 

St. Ann's Warehouse, responding to extraordinary demand for tickets, has announced a three-week extension of Monsoon Wedding, the Musical, Mira Nair's live theatrical adaptation of her landmark film. The new production, featuring actors and theater-makers from India and the global Indian diaspora, welcomes audiences inside the lavish wedding plans and frenzied leadup to an arranged marriage beset by modern tensions. Preview performances begin at the Brooklyn waterfront theater on May 6.

This follows A Strange Loop, the Pulitzer Prize-winning new musical direct from Broadway with performances until 9 September and includes a world premiere from Belarus Free Theatre, UK premieres by Why Not Theatre, Eun-Me Ahn, Pam Tanowitz and David Lang, a cross-cultural festival curated by Inua Ellams, the return of Dance Umbrella andTold by an Idiot, and a line-up of exciting and experimental theatre makers in The Pit.
