Boundless Theatre and Boom Shakalaka Productions today announce the full cast for new musical Parakeet welcoming Lula Mebrahtu, Isabel Oliver and Michelle Tiwo to the production. Parakeet will also star the show's creators Brigitte Aphrodite and Quiet Boy. Directed by Laura Keefe, it opens at Paines Plough's ROUNDABOUT @ Summerhall on 4 August, with previews from 31 July, and runs until 25 August.

Boundless Theatre and Boom Shakalaka Productions today announce the Edinburgh Festival Fringe run of new musical Parakeet by Brigitte Aphrodite and Quiet Boy. The pair renew their collaboration with director Laura Keefe following My Beautiful Black Dog, which toured the UK following a sold-out run at Edinburgh Festival Fringe in 2015. The production opens at Paines Plough's ROUNDABOUT @ Summerhall on 4 August, with previews from 31 July, and runs until 25 August.

Emerging Montreal Theatre Company, Rentrobuff Productions will present its exciting inaugural production of 'tick, tick...BOOM!' from May 15-25, 2019 at the MainLine Theatre. 

Dobbalopolis proudly presents boom, Peter Sinn Nachtrieb's apocalyptic comedy.  The production is the first theatrical event produced by the newly minted Dobbalopolis Productions, directed by Tara Elliott (Drama League Fellow) and co-produced by Andrew Dobbie (Stu) and Blaire O'Leary (Exquisite Corpse Company) at The Chain Theater's new space in Manhattan.

From 3rd May until 9th June, audiences are invited to the best Eurovision party in town - Boom-Bang-a-Bang. X Ambassadors are coming to the UK next month to play a headline show at London's Scala on April 29th. It will be the award-winning trio's only UK show forming part of their European run in May.

The Segal Centre for Performing Arts is proud to welcome back Rick Miller for the Montreal premiere of BOOM X, a Kidoons and WYRD in association with Theatre Calgary and The 20K Collective production. BOOM X is the second installment in Miller's trilogy of shows designed to tell a big-picture story: 75 years of history in this corner of our planet. While BOOM explored the Baby Boomer era, this sequel tells the story of Generation X: the 70s, 80s, and early 90s. Just in time for Valentine's Day, BOOM X rocks the Sylvan Adams Theatre at the Segal Centre from February 14 to March 10, 2019.

FunikiJam World Music, in cooperation with AZ Wonderland Productions, Inc., will produce the Off-Broadway world premiere of the new family musical, 'Rhythm Boom Boom,' Sunday, January 27, 2019 at the Actor's Temple Theatre, before launching internationally with a 60-city tour of China.

Theater On The Edge is extending its run of BOOM, by Peter Sinn Nachtrieb, through Sunday, January 20th. The comedy-drama stars theater ensemble members Adam Minossora, Elaitheia Quinn, and Megan Raitano. Directed by Marco DiGeorge, BOOM has been receiving glowing reviews and has sold out its initial run of the show, prompting a need for additional performances.

To celebrate the holiday season, National Geographic will make the first two episodes of the upcoming limited series Valley of the Boom available for free beginning December 21st in advance of the series' broadcast premiere. The two episodes will be released unauthenticated on NationalGeographic.com and on the National Geographic TV app, which includes mobile and connected devices such as AppleTV, Roku, Chromecast and more. Black Violin will continue their successful Classical Boom Tour. The band will return to the road after spending the summer working on their upcoming album due out in 2019. The tour is a continuation of their well-received winter run which included back-to-back sold out performances at The Kennedy Center in Washington, D.C..

TOTE alum Adam Minossora and Elaitheia Quinn will star alongside theater ensemble member Megan Raitano in Peter Sinn Nachtieb's 2007 dramatic comedy BOOM. Directed by Marco DiGeorge, BOOM will run from November 2 through December 9, 2018 at the emerging Theater On The Edge.

Black Violin is a blend of classical, hip-hop, rock, R&B, and bluegrass music performed by classically trained string instrumentalists Wil Baptiste and Kevin "Kev Marcus" Sylvester. There has been a lot of news swirling around stage to screen adaptations in the past few weeks, from Lin-Manuel Miranda directing a TICK, TICK... BOOM! movie, to Diane Paulus directing NBC's HAIR LIVE!, and this Friday, the Disney Channel original movie of the FREAKY FRIDAY musical will premiere.
