Funikijam's RHYTHM BOOM BOOM To Premiere At The Actor's Temple Theatre

FunikiJam World Music, in cooperation with AZ Wonderland Productions, Inc., will produce the Off-Broadway world premiere of the new family musical, "Rhythm Boom Boom," Sunday, January 27, 2019 at the Actor's Temple Theatre, before launching internationally with a 60-city tour of China.

"Rhythm Boom Boom," is a award-winning production co-created by Brian Barrentine (Music) & Ken Zang (Book), showcasing the popular songs of FunikiJam World Music, penned by Barrentine and featured in his popular music classes, birthday parties, events, and Off-Broadway family musicals (New York Times Pick, "7 Things to Do With Your Kids in N.Y.C. This Weekend").

In "Rhythm Boom Boom," Captain Jam and The Agents of Jam invite the children of China and their families to embark upon a globetrotting musical adventure: with a drum in every seat, the audience plays and sings along, journeying from Africa to Australia, Egypt to Europe to the USA, and finally to China, where everyone celebrates a successful mission. Joining Barrentine's "Captain Jam," as the "Agents of Jam" are Andrea Galata, Ashton Parrack, and Brian Radock. Technical supervision for the production is by Maarten Cornelis.

"This is truly a dream come true," says Barrentine. "We're building bridges and forging a global community with music and lyrics, spanning so many different genres, and it all happens to coincide with our 20th Anniversary Season of FunikiJam!"
