Overture Center for the Arts and the Sessions at McPike Park present Cuban composer and pianist Omar Sosa, one of the most versatile jazz artists on the scene today, and his Quarteto Americanos on Wednesday, Sept. 21 at 7:30 p.m. in Capitol Theater.

CalArts Center for New Performance (CNP) kicks off its 20th anniversary season on Thursday, September 29, 2022, with the world premiere of Scene with Cranes, written by acclaimed playwright Octavio Solis, directed by Chi-wang Yang. It will run from Sept. 29 through Oct. 1, 2022 at the Roy and Edna Disney/CalArts Theater (REDCAT) in downtown Los Angeles. 

San Diego Opera will present the world premiere of Gabriela Lena Frank's El último sueño de Frida y Diego (The Last Dream of Frida and Diego) on Saturday, October 29, 2022 at the San Diego Civic Theatre for four performances.

Paper Mill Playhouse has announced casting for On Your Feet! The Story of Emilio & Gloria Estefan, the first production of Paper Mill’s 2022-2023 season. The production will feature Linedy Genao (On Your Feet! on Broadway) as Gloria, and Brandon Espinoza (Broadway’s SpongeBob SquarePants) as Emilio.

MILE SQUARE THEATRE (MST) has announced their first production of Kevin R. Free’s first season as Artistic Director, of Angelica Chéri’s BERTA, BERTA, directed by Kevin R. Free. BERTA, BERTA will play a four-week limited engagement at Mile Square Theatre.

Lincoln Center for the Performing Arts has announced its fall/winter programming, reflective of its artistic vision, featuring a mix of collaborations with constituents across Lincoln Center and a focus on genres historically underrepresented on campus.

Theater Resources Unlimited will present Meet the Coaches, during which actors can meet more than 10 monologue and music coaches, plus accompanists, who will share their methods and then meet individuals in breakout rooms.

The New Jersey Performing Arts Center (NJPAC) announced the exciting line-up of the highly anticipated TD James Moody Jazz Festival. This year's program offers events combining jazz luminaries in collaboration with artists known for R&B, poetry, hip hop, and so much more.   

The Crown Arts Collaborative (CAC), a 501(c)3 non-profit with a mission of returning theatre and art to the historic Crown Uptown Theatre, presents the first non-musical production of its inaugural season with Calendar Girls, a stage play based on a true story and popularized by the 2003 film of the same name. Performances run weekends August 26 - September 18 at the Crown Uptown, with Friday and Saturday show times at 8:00 PM, and Sunday matinees at 2:00 PM.

DPAC announced that HAIRSPRAY, Broadway's Tony Award-winning musical comedy phenomenon, will come to DPAC November 15-20, 2022, as part of Truist Broadway at DPAC's new season.   

Celebrated creative collaborators over two decades, Pulitzer Prize-winning playwright Lynn Nottage and director Kate Whoriskey will return to Goodman Theatre with their latest Broadway production, Clyde’s, launching the Goodman’s 2022/2023 Season.

ALICE, a new operetta, will make its NYC premiere at The Tank August 11th - 14th. The work features a libretto and direction by Emily Drossell, an original score and music direction by George Luton, and choreography by Logan Pitts.
