For its winter engagement, The Joffrey Ballet Presents THE TIMES ARE RACING, a mixed repertory program featuring choreography from four of the most influential artists working today, including the Chicago premiere of Justin Peck's 2017 ballet for which the program gets its name, two pieces by Israeli choreographer and former Batsheva Dance Company member Itzik Galili, a Christopher Wheeldon classic, and a new work from Chicago's Stephanie Martinez, 2015 winner of the Joffrey's Winning Works choreographic competition. The Times Are Racing is presented in ten performances only, February 12-23 at the Auditorium Theatre.

Fellowship for Performing Arts announced today complete casting for the New York premiere of PARADISE LOST, written by award-winning playwright Tom Dulack (Incommunicado, Kennedy Center Prize for New American Drama; Road to Damascus) and directed by Michael Parva (Irena's Vow, Martin Luther on Trial). Performances begin on Wednesday, January 15, with opening night set for Wednesday, January 22, at Theatre Three at Theatre Row (410 W. 42nd Street, New York, NY 10036) for a run through Sunday, February 23, 2020. The 5th Avenue Theatre has announced complete casting for the world premiere of Bliss, an empowering original musical fantasy that flips the traditional princess narrative upside down.

The show marks the ninth installment in the venue's 2019-2020 Broadway at the National series, which is set to include an unprecedented 17 productions.

CA-based supergroup, THE THIRD MIND, featuring an all-star line-up of players –Dave Alvin (guitar, vocals), Victor Krummenacher (bass, vocals), David Immergluck (guitar, keyboards, vocals), Michael Jerome (drums, percussion) with special guest Jesse Sykes (guitar, vocals)—will release their self-titled debut album on February 14, 2020 via Yep Roc Records.

Cantone, the comedic genius best known for playing Anthony Marentino in Sex and the City, will star as Sir Pincus Glimmermore, the princesses' fairy godfather. Bliss, which is the 23rd new musical produced by The 5th Avenue Theatre, features a book, music, and lyrics by Emma Lively and Tyler Beattie and will showcase direction by Tony Award-nominated Sheryl Kaller (Broadway: Mothers and Sons, Next Fall), who is one of only fourteen women in Tony history to receive a nomination in the Best Director category. Additional casting for Bliss will be announced at a later date.

The Orchestra Now (TŌN), the visionary orchestra and master's degree program founded by Bard College president, conductor, educator, and music historian Leon Botstein, begins its fifth season on September 14, 2019. Five different series and three special events will offer 19 diverse programs and 31 performances presenting novel combinations of both time-honored and lesser-known repertoire through May 17, 2020. Since the Orchestra's launch in 2015, the young members of TŌN have performed 261 works by 137 composers for more than 50,000 people in 23 venues, with 158 soloists and 15 conductors.
