Arizona Broadway Theatre (ABT) kicks off the holidays in a big way with the wildly-popular, Elf The Musical and the Theatre's annual Christmas tree lighting on November 22, 2019. Elf will continue to delight ABT audiences through December 29, 2019.

A new recording is released today of the Academy Award-winning song Falling Slowly, introducing Daniel Healy as Guy and Emma Lucia as Girl. They will lead the cast of the first UK Tour of Once, launching in January 2020 following a run at Fairfield Halls, Croydon from Thursday 19 December to Saturday 11 January.

The National Alliance for Musical Theatre will kick-off this year's Festival of New Musicals at The Green Room 42 (at the Yotel, 570 10th Ave) with The 46th Minute concert on Wednesday, October 23 at 7 PM.  This concert is open to the public and tickets starting at $22, can be purchased by visiting TheGreenRoom42.poptix.com. 

Tony Award-winning director/choreographer Kathleen Marshall will join novelist/librettist Rex Pickett and composer Anthony Leigh Adams in collaborating on the development of Sideways: The Musical. 

STOMP, the international percussion sensation, will return to St. Louis at the Fabulous Fox Theatre November 15-17. From its beginnings as a street performance in the UK, STOMP has grown into an international sensation over the past 20 years, having performed in more than 50 countries and in front of more than 24 million people.

2020 marks the 20th birthday of the Dragon Productions Theatre Company and is the first season that new co-artistic directors Alika Spencer Koknar and Bora a?oeMaxa?? Koknar have programmed for the company. The theatre season is the typical mix of Dragon produced a?oeMain Stage Seriesa?? shows and a?oe2nd Stages Seriesa?? plays. However, in 2020, as part of a company re-branding effort in progress, the 2nd Stages series will be renamed the Dragon's Nest Incubator Program to better acknowledge Dragon's commitment to the development of local artists of varying disciplines.

Hackney Empire has announced further casting for Dick Whittington and his Cat and reveal the first cast images of its sparkling new adaptation as it gears up for panto season! Tarinn Callender, who made his West End debut with the original London cast of Hamilton playing Hercules Mulligan and James Madison, will mark his first Hackney panto in the title role of Dick Whittington. The production will also welcome debut panto appearances from Annette McLaughlin (Harry Potter and The Cursed Child) as Queen Rat, Christina Tedders (Once The Musical) as Alice Fitzwarren and Sue Kelvin (Caroline, Or Change) as Fairy Bowbells. As previously announced, they will star alongside Hackney stalwarts Grand Dame Clive Rowe who marks a 13th panto appearance, this year starring as Sarah the Cook, the loveable Kat B as Vincent the Cat and the ever trusty Tony Whittle as Alderman Fitzwarren. Dick Whittington and His Cat will run from 23 November 2019 to 5 January 2020, with opening night for press on Wednesday 4 December 2019.
