The Saint Sebastian Players (SSP) conclude the company’s 40th anniversary season with the world premiere of the corporate satire The Shady Lady by Kara Poe Atnip and SSP company member Lisa Dellagiarino Feriend. Performances take place May 5–22, 2022 in the lower level of St. Bonaventure, 1625 W. Diversey, Chicago (enter on Marshfield).

The video pays tribute to performances in films including Who’s Afraid of Virginia Woolf (1966), Opening Night (1977), Mommie Dearest (1981), Annie (1982), Frances (1982), and Misery (1990) and is dedicated to the memory of Cenza’s late grandmother, Nancy M. Tonight, NBC will air its sixth live musical production. Following in the footsteps of The Sound of Music, Peter Pan, The Wiz, Hairspray, and Jesus Christ Superstar, the peacock network will be presenting Annie. Based on Harold Gray's comic strip titled Little Orphan Annie, this musical tells the story of a little orphan with equal measures of pluck and positivity who charms everyone's hearts, despite a next-to-nothing start in New York City in the year 1933.

Pittsburgh CLO has announced casting for the 30th annual production of A MUSICAL CHRISTMAS CAROL, December 17-23 at the Byham Theater. This year's production, directed by Scott Evans, will feature lavish costumes, thrilling effects and a talented ensemble of both new and returning performers.
