Schimmel Center will present Tony and Pulitzer Prize nominee Anna Deavere Smith's Obie Award-winning solo performance, Notes From the Field, for one weekend only on Friday, June 1 at 7:30 p.m. and Today, June 2 at 2:00 p.m. and 7:30 p.m. in preparation for a two week run at the Royal Court in London. The production is directed by Leonard Foglia and features original music composed and performed by bassist Marcus Shelby who joins Ms. Smith on stage.

Milwaukee Repertory Theater presents the World Premiere production of Lost Girl by Kimberly Belflower performed by the 2017/18 Professional Training Institute (PTI) ensemble this July 19-22, 2018 in the Stiemke Studio.  PTI is an advanced actor-training program for students in 8th-12th grade who may have an interest in pursuing a career as a professional theater artist.   The 2017/18 PTI ensemble features sixteen students hailing from fourteen different high schools who received free training from some of the top theater professionals in the world, culminating in this capstone performance  of Lost Girl where they will be employed as paid, professional actors.

Casting for the upcoming Boston engagement of the long-awaited hit Broadway musical, Disney's Aladdin has been announced. Performances at the Boston Opera House play July 5 - August 5, 2018 as part of the 2017-2018 Lexus Broadway In Boston Season.

LAByrinth Theater Company (Artistic Director John Ortiz) recently announced that they will present the World Premiere of Devil of Choice by LAB Member Maggie Bofill (Winners, Drawn and Quartered). They are thrilled for performances to begin Wednesday, May 23, and will run through Saturday, June 9, 2018, at The Cherry Lane Theatre (38 Commerce Street, New York, NY 10014). The North American tour of Disney's Aladdin celebrates its one-year anniversary today, April 19 in Denver, where the hit Broadway musical is playing The Buell Theatre through April 28, 2018.

It was just announced by Pulitzer Prize Administrator Dana Canedy that Martyna Majok's COST OF LIVING has officially won the 2018 Pulitzer Prize for Drama.

Casting has been announced for the Cleveland engagement of Disney's Aladdin.  The hit Broadway musical will begin performances in Cleveland at the KeyBank State Theatre as part of the KeyBank Broadway Series on Wednesday, May 2 for a limited engagement through Sunday, May 27.

Disney Theatrical Productions is pleased to announce that Clinton Greenspan will star in the title role in the North American touring production of Disney's Aladdin starting on April 7 in Denver, where the hit Broadway musical will play a limited three-week engagement at The Buell Theatre through April 28.  Greenspan, who previously understudied the iconic role on tour, succeeds original Broadway and tour star Adam Jacobs, who will play his final performance as 'Aladdin' on March 31 in Los Angeles at The Hollywood Pantages Theatre.  Tickets are on sale now at denvercenter.org.

Walnut Street Theatre continues its landmark 209th season with Michael Frayn's classic backstage comedy, NOISES OFF. Directed by Frank Anzalone, this production begins previews on March 13th, opens on March 21st, and runs through April 29th on the Walnut's Mainstage.

Shakespeare Theatre Company today announces the cast of Lerner and Loewe's multiple Tony Award-winning musical Camelot.
