On August 10, the Mississippi-bred singer & guitarist Jason Eady returns with a new album I Travel On. The album is his first to be recorded with his ace touring band who have been relentlessly touring behind Eady's critically acclaimed self-titled album that was released in 2017. GRAMMY-nominated musicians Rob Ickes and Trey Hensley accompanied Eady, his bandmates and wife Courtney Patton to round out the lineup that would execute the live, single-take sessions.

Maned Wolf Productions partners with Off-Broadway Producer Brian Long and Pocono Mountains Theater Company to present a the reading of a new play by playwright Sarah T. Schwab featuring Drama Desk and Obie Award winning Actor Michael Cullen and Joseph Jefferson recipient and award winning Juan Francisco Villa, on July 14th.. There will also be a special Screening of Ms. Schwab's short film will be on July 15th. Both events will take place in Barrett Township, PA.

Matthew Rauch (CBS's Blue Bloods) and Zina Wilde (HBO's Billions, ABC's Madoff) have joined the cast of Laurence Shanet'sfeature CHASE THE ACE, it was today announced by the film's producers Nicholas Avenue and Ratul Sharma of Fight or Flight Pictures. The action film is currently in production, shooting in New York, and will be completed this summer. Avenue and Sharma wrote the film and star in it as well. Rounding out the cast is Erin Kommor (NBC's Rise).

The Globe is happy to announce that the Globe for All Tour will continue to bring shows to the community in 2018, with support provided by Theatre Forward's Advancing Strong Theatre grant program. Following the Globe engagement of Karen Zacarias's hilarious comedy directed by Edward Torres, Native Gardens will travel June 28 through July 1 to four of our community partner venues for free performances in South Bay, Lemon Grove, Otay Mesa, and Oceanside. Developed in the 2017 Powers New Voices Festival, it runs through June 24 in the Sheryl and Harvey White Theatre, part of the Conrad Prebys Theatre Center, and then hits the road!

Windowsill Pies' Lazy Summer Strawberry and Cream Pie has been named the "Official Pie of WAITRESS New Orleans." The recipe will be inserted into all WAITRESS Cookbooks sold at the Saenger Theatre during the New Orleans engagement. Mini versions of the pie are sold at the Whole Foods on Veterans Memorial Blvd. in Metairie.

The Old Globe's 2017-2018 Season continues with today's announcement of the complete cast and creative team for the West Coast premiere of Karen Zacarias's Native Gardens, which was developed in the Globe's 2017 Powers New Voices Festival. Edward Torres (the Globe's Water by the Spoonful) directs this uproarious new comedy, playing May 26 - June 24, 2018 in the Sheryl and Harvey White Theatre, part of the Conrad Prebys Theatre Center. Multi-platinum, four-time GRAMMY-nominated band Goo Goo Dolls today announced The Audience is This Way, a 10-track live album recorded on the band's recent tours. The Audience is This Way is due for release on July 21, 2018 via Warner Bros. Records and will be physically available as an exclusive limited edition black vinyl at indie-retail stores nationally as part of Record Store Day Crawl. There are only 3,000 copies made of this pressing. The album will also be available for digital download and streaming on August 24.
