Twelve voice-over artists, a mix of actors, impressionists and comedians have just started work on recording voices for over one hundred Spitting Image characters for the World Premiere of the stage show,  Idiots Assemble: Spitting Image Saves the World which previews at Birmingham Rep from 1 February.

Comedian and Emmy nominated actor Kevin James, known for the sitcom The King of Queens, will be bringing The Irregardless Tour to Raleigh.

Written in 1996 by dissident Czech playwright and novelist Pavel Kohout, whose experiences inspired two Tom Stoppard plays, Cyanide at 5 is the unfolding of a meeting between two women: a novelist and a seeming fan. Zofia, a writer whose only novel has made her rich and famous, is flattered by a visit from Irene, a younger Jewish woman whose mother was a victim of the Holocaust.

The American Theatre as seen by Hirschfeld 1962-2002 showcases Hirschfeld’s greatest theater work from five decades, including some of the most important productions from the last sixty years. It will be available exclusively online and at The Museum of Broadway starting November 15.

The Public Theater has announced complete casting for the world premiere of PLAYS FOR THE PLAGUE YEAR, written by and featuring Pulitzer Prize winner and Public Theater Writer-in-Residence Suzan-Lori Parks and directed by Bessie Award winner Niegel Smith. 

Broadway Palm has opened its 30th Anniversary Season with Broadway Palm Thru The Decades playing now through October 1, 2022. This original musical revue celebrates Broadway Palm and the musicals they have produced over the years. The Los Angeles Film Orchestra announces its debut performance, Basil Poledouris: The Music and The Movies at The Music Center's Walt Disney Concert Hall on July 22 at 8pm PT. The Hunchback of Notre Dame is a musical inspired by the Victor Hugo novel of 1831, with music primarily featured in the 1996 Disney film adaptation. With music by Alan Menken, lyrics by Stephen Schwartz, and book by James Lapine and Peter Parnell The Hunchback of Notre Dame is a 2.5 hour deep dive that takes pieces from both the film and Hugo’s novel to create an amalgamation of the world in which the people in this story reside.
