Hadestown has cancelled their matinee performance for today, Saturday, March 12th at 2pm. According to a Tweet from New York Times theater reporter Michael Paulson, the afternoon performance has been struck by a combination of problems, including Covid and injuries.
Lana Gordon to Take Over the Role of Persephone in HADESTOWN on Broadway

Lana Gordon will play the role of Persephone in Hadestown, the winner of eight Tony Awards including Best Musical, starting Tuesday, February 22 at Broadway's Walter Kerr Theatre. Gordon previously starred on Broadway as Velma Kelly in Chicago and was an original cast member in The Lion King and is currently the Persephone alternate for Amber Gray, who originated the role, and as previously announced will play her final performance in Hadestown on Saturday evening, February 19.
