The Tony Award-winning musical adaptation of Disney's much-loved film transports audiences to a dazzling world of glorious colors, stunning effects and enchanting music to tell the story of Simba and his epic journey from wide-eyed cub to his destined role as King of the Pridelands.

The producers of 9 TO 5 THE MUSICAL today announced the full cast for the second production when it embarks on an 11-city tour of the UK and Ireland from 6 September 2019. Directed by Jeff Calhoun, with a book by Patricia Resnick who wrote the hit movie and music and lyrics by Dolly Parton.

The Shrill Collective continued their 2019 season of original works written by female authors by celebrating the opening weekend of the world premiere of A PERIOD PIECE by Megan Bussiere. This is Shrill's 8th self-produced project since their foundation in March 2017.

Overture Center for the Arts is proud to present the Madison premiere of ANASTASIA in Overture Hall from Tuesday, July 30-Sunday, Aug. 4, 2019. The tour of the critically acclaimed Broadway production began performances in October 2018 at Proctors in Schenectady, NY before journeying to over 30 cities in its first year. Touring the country with ANASTASIA is Tari Kelly, a graduate from Madison's East High.
