Berkshire Theatre Group has announced Tony Award-winner Harriet Harris (Thoroughly Modern Millie) has joined the cast as Lady Bracknell in Oscar Wilde's The Importance of Being Earnest. Pulitzer Prize and Tony Award-winner David Auburn will direct BTG's production.

She Loves You will have its world premiere in March 2022 at the Tivoli Gardens in Copenhagen, starring Danish singer and actress Maria Lucia (The Beauty and the Beast, The Sound of Music on stage and the Danish film dubbing of Disney's Frozen) leading a cast of 24 musical performers. This production with Danish dialogue and English-language songs, will transfer to the Musikhuset in Aarhus before launching a Scandinavian tour of Sweden, Norway and Iceland, with several worldwide productions still in the pipeline.

The criteria are that these shows have been nominated for Best Musical from the 3rd Tony Awards (the ceremony that started the Best Musical category) in 1949 to the nominations of what will now be the 74th Tony Awards in 2021. I will be determining their signs based upon their Broadway premiere date. With those rules in mind, here we go!

Up and comer Hannah Jane hasn't been waiting around for the audiences and she to be reunited... that's what the internet is for! So the Broadway devotee will be presenting her concert about her love of musical theater on Facebook Live on March 24th at 7 pm.

Today, baritone Will Liverman has released Dreams of a New Day: Songs by Black Composers with pianist Paul Sánchez on Cedille Records. Liverman says, “Right now, it is more important than ever to celebrate the contributions of Black composers, and I’m honored to give voice to the art songs on this album.'

Alabama Shakespeare Festival presents Ruby: The Story of Ruby Bridges on the Festival Stage March 6 through March 22, 2020. Produced in collaboration with Montgomery Public Schools, the play is adapted by Christina Ham, who penned last season's Four Little Girls: Birmingham 1963 and Nina Simone: Four Women, with music by Gary Rue.

A star-studded cast including some of Australia's most celebrated television, film and theatre performers will join already announced Lachy Hulme and Roz Hammond in One Flew Over The Cuckoo's Nest, to be staged at Her Majesty's Theatre, Melbourne for a strictly limited season from 23 May.

Shattered Globe Theatre will continue its 2019-20 Season with the Chicago premiere of Kevin Artigue's SHEEPDOG, a love story that investigates the blurred lines between duty and passion in the face of police brutality, directed by Wardell Julius Clark. SHEEPDOG will play January 16 a?" February 29, 2020 at Theater Wit, 1229 W. Belmont Ave. in Chicago. That harmonious hit jukebox musical Jersey Boys is once again back at Syracuse's Landmark Theatre as part of the Famous Artists Broadway Theater Series: Broadway in Syracuse. The musical of course tells the story of Frankie Valli and the Four Seasons with music by Bob Gaudio, lyrics by Bob Crewe and a book by Marshall Brickman and Rick Elice.
