Seattle Center Festál: Bastille Day - A French Celebration 2010 Takes Place July 11

Commemorate France's democratic beginnings at the annual celebration of French culture and presence in the Puget Sound Area, Seattle Center Festál: Bastille Day - A French Celebration, July 11, 10:30 a.m. - 6 p.m., in Center House, Fisher Pavilion and Fisher Lawn.

The 2010 festival, themed Paris, I love you, includes cultural and musical performances, professional and amateur photography exhibitions, booths selling French products from various regions of France, as well as delicious French food and wine. The festival is an opportunity for the 7000-strong French community to invite the local population to discover France's culture and art of living.

2010 special features include: Amateur photo contest themed "France, I love you" Live music with renowned musicians and bands: Pearl Django, Filé Gumbo, La Famille Léger, La Bottine Souriante, Bonnie Birch, Heatwarmer, Pamplemousse Cooking demonstrations by local French and American Chefs French wine tastings presented by experts within the wine industry Artist workshop for children
