Under the Influence is an original musical comedy written by Carine Gilbert and Frances Gilbert (The Gilbert Twins) with lyrics, composition, and musical direction by Shona Maule, directed by Georgie Rankcom, produced by Speakerphone Productions. After becoming a viral sensation, identical twins Carine and Frances land in couples therapy as the world's most co-dependent non-couple, leading to a hilarious musical intervention and a reckoning that threatens to collapse their lifelong duet. The show explores the chaos of sisterhood, online pressure, and the search for one's own voice. It runs at Edinburgh Festival Fringe with no performance on 17 August, with a running time of 60 minutes and an age recommendation of 14+.
