Set during the twilight of Bette Davis's legendary career, this camp horror musical fantasy features a soundtrack blending close harmony, disco, rock, and wistful ballads inspired by Kander and Ebb and Elton John, exploring aging, motherhood, and the darker underbelly of Tinseltown. With her star fading, the Oscar-winning actress reluctantly accepts a role in the 1975 cult film Burnt Offerings, where off-camera horrors unfold as she is tormented by her daughter BD Hyman and locked in bitter conflict with co-stars Oliver Reed and Karen Black. The show imagines what would happen if the Hollywood titan unleashed her alleged dark powers and took revenge on those who wronged her. Written and directed by John P. McEneny with music and lyrics by Rob Parker, the cast includes Annie Meek Montgomery as Bette, Aaron Novak, Coleson Berlin, Laura Dillman Frank, and Grace Olinsky.
