San Francisco Playhouse stages Tennessee Williams’ seminal masterpiece “The Glass Menagerie,” directed by in-demand Bay Area theatre artist Jeffrey Lo. In this captivating and visceral memory play, Tom longs to evade his monotonous day job and his mother Amanda. Recalling her debutante days, Amanda toils to find a match for her debilitatingly shy daughter Laura, who escapes the realities of her world through her collection of glass animal figurines. Bay area theatre veteran Jomar Tagatac and San Francisco Playhouse Producing Director/Co-Founder Susi Damilano return to the Playhouse stage as Tom and Amanda, with Nicole Javier playing Laura and William Thomas Hodgson performing as Jim O’Connor.
