Scottish pianist Steven Osborne performs at the Visual and Performing Arts Center at De Anza College in Cupertino as part of Steinway Society – The Bay Area's 32nd season. His program, Reflections on the Waltz, traces the arc of the waltz form through works by Schumann, Satie, Ravel, and others, culminating in Beethoven's 33 Variations on a Waltz by Diabelli. Osborne has performed at Wigmore Hall, the Vienna Konzerthaus, and the Berlin Philharmonie, and his recordings have earned numerous international awards. In 2022, he was appointed an OBE for services to music.
