During the pandemic, comedians worldwide took to Zoom to continue performing their craft and paying their rent. In July 2020, Lisa Geduldig, the creator and producer of the acclaimed Kung Pao Kosher Comedy - Jewish comedy on Christmas in a Chinese Restaurant launched a monthly comedy series Lockdown Comedy on the 3rd Thursday of the month. (The 28th and 29th Annual Kung Pao Kosher Comedy shows took place in 2020 and 2021 online and will be hybrid in-person and online for the 30th Anniversary shows on December 23-25, 2022.)Lisa runs the show from her mothers guest room in Florida, and her 91 years young mother Arline, with whom Lisa has been spending the pandemic, also performs on the show.The August 18th Lockdown Comedy show kicks off our 3rd year with Greg Proops (LA), Wendy Liebman (LA), Ngaio Bealum (Sacramento), Lisa Geduldig (SF), and her 91 year young mom, Arline Geduldig (Florida).
