Little Shop of Horrors, with book and lyrics by Howard Ashman and music by Alan Menken, is based on the film by Roger Corman with screenplay by Charles Griffith. Seymour discovers a new species of plant with an appetite for human blood, and soon has everything he ever wanted, but must decide how far he is willing to go. The production is directed by NCTC Artistic Director Ben Villegas Randle, with musical direction by Jad Bernardo and choreography by Leslie Waggoner. The cast includes Kamilah Cole, Jas Cook, Bría Gaia Padilla Irizarry, John Mannion, Vanessa Mendy, Mudd the Two Spirit, Roeen Nooran, William Schmidt, Ryan Patrick Welsh, and Zion Wheaton.

October 18, 2022 TheatreWorks Silicon Valley kicks off its 2022/23 season with a riotous show for the holidays, Little Shop of Horrors, reset in San Francisco's Chinatown. In this offbeat hit musical, narrated through doo-wop ditties by a trio of neighborhood girls, meek florist Seymour finds himself catapulted into instant celebrity when he cultivates an otherworldly showstopper, a highly unusual plant.About the Theatre
